  9. Yes, as gary said. I also have the 044 mounte intank with std bracket and have no noise, its hard to hear the pump.
  10. I have my 044 mounted intank(it JUST fits in the stock bracket), not loud, and no surge tank needed.
  11. Guilt toy, what pump you using and do you run a rising rate regulator? I made 312rwkw with 550cc injectors with 044 pump and rising rate reg, only running around 75% duty cycle from memory.
  12. Shane, have you got the mounts bolted to the block using the correct holes in the block, i think there are 6 holes where the mounts can be bolted up. i will take a pic of mine if i remember 2moro.
  13. Shane, I have cut about 100mm piece out of the one of the under bonnt supports where it hits the cam belt cover, now my bonnet shuts and just clears. What turbos you using there?

  16. Joel, OK i will grab that restricor off you and throw it in. I havent used a crank collar as its still my stock RB30 bottom end and i wont be reving it heaps high due to stock rods, i wont get a collar till i built a forged bottom end, i got h beam rods just need some pistons. What revs you reckon safe with std crank oil pump drive?
  17. Joel:- I thought the 1- 1.2mm were for those running GTR or N1 oil pump, im only using a std RB20det pump, thats why i thought id stick with 1.8mm, or 1.5mm. Are RB20det pumps same or nat as much flow as RB25det pumps? Do RB30 blocks come std with 1.8mm restrictors??
  18. Ash:- yeah, getting close, still got cams here (sitting in cupboard), just havent been to adelaide for about 6 months. Joel:- head is only temporary bolted on ( havent done final assembly), i have blocked off the rear oil feed with a screw i made, i may be interested in that restrictor. what do you think i should run 1.8 or 1.5mm oil feed at front and rear blocked??
  19. The caps have numbers on them (1- 7) so i cant see how anyone could get them mixed up? What lift in mm did the cams have?

  21. Im pretty sure certain models of s13 silvias had either 3.7 or 3.9 diffs, not sure which was auto or manual.
  22. Darren, yeah i went 26head this time for the solid lifters to allow bigger cams and the better GTR plenum. The aim is to keep it all looking stock, similar to my black R32.

  24. I made a low mount manifold for my RB30det, mainly to keep heat low. I have had a cheap stainless manifold crack on my missus car, didnt last long. Couple of pics in r32 with GT3540.
  25. Those are the clips that hold in the syncro rings, definately need to replace them, the can be sourced from nissan dealer.
