Have you tried to space the rear of the bonnet up using a spacer between the bonnet and hinge? Or space the engine crossmember down a bit using some big washers?

Im using some kind of .82 truck housing with internal gate machined to suit GT35/40. No further results to that dyno, that was running stock plenum and stock exhaust manifold.

When we went to the car show on sunday, there were 3 cop cars INSIDE the gates where all the cars were parked, defecting vehicles as they came in or as they left.

From what i have found, the GTS-4 is almost as strong as a GTR box.

As cubes said, i have tried a few brands of tyres with my 300rwkw rb30det including Hankook, Toyo, perelli, and found the Federals to definately give the best grip, and last just as long as the others. You only have to look at Theo Woollett's GTR that runs 9 second 1/4 miles on a set of Federals. (And they are cheap at $160 for 225/45/17")

Gary, Which parts of the exhaust system do you wrap? When you wrap a steampipe manifold, does it shorten the life odf the manifold much due to keeping the heat in?

What sump you using Ash, RB30 Or RB20??

I got a plug-in microtech, and just plugged it in, didnt hook up any wires for 4WD.

"Sky30" is just something that came to my head when i signed up, short for "Skyline RB30" Coz of the R32 skyline with RB30 engine i drive.

I run a stan-alone microtech in my GTS-4, this hasnt affected the operation of the 4WD, so the stock ECU must not have anything to do with the ATTESSA computer.

I have had the same problem on my GTS-4, only happened straight after i installed th Redline, and squirts a bit out from time to time. Someone suggested to put a small fuel filter in the braether line, so the box can still breathe but wont make a mess. Anyone else got any other ideas to fix it?

joel, I was more interested in how the torque curves compare than just outright numbers, what speed max torque was made, and how well the torque was held. Also the figures should be fairly accurate as the were all 4th gear, using the stock diff ratio and the same dyno.

Sounds good, What RPM are you making full boost at? And is the engine a RB20 or RB26??

Joel, id be very interested if you could do a similar dyno camparison on torque readings between mine, yours and ash's cars. Ash, What RPM do you get ful boost at?? I wouldnt be too dissapointed, a mate of mine runs the 1.06 housing on his VLT and doesn't get full boost till around 4200RPM.....

I do agree with joel with the diff ratio not making good use of the RB30 torque, i also felt mine could do with slightly taller ratio. Notice how nissan put a 4.11 ratio in the GTR (RB26) and R33 RB25)which had more torque than the R32 RB20 that uses 4.36. I think nissan got the right idea. Im keen to see how the RB30 goes in my GTS4 which has a GTR 4.11 diff in it, will be interesting to compare it to my old GTS-t with the 4.363 diff.

I thought the report in the Advertiser was a bit "anti import" as they mentioned that there were "4 other nissan skylines following", they didnt need to say what make of cars they were, the could of just said "4 other car following". It really sh*ts me how they try to give imports a bad name, every person who read that article would be thinking because there was a bunch of skylines they were probably hooning and caused the accident.

Sorry to hear about the crash to all involved. I can aslo see people blaming the crash on "hooning import drivers" even though he was not at fault.....

Ash, Good to see you got your car running, not a bad result for 15psi.

As i said earlier, the injector increaments on the microtech arent fine enough to run the 550cc injectors at good AFR at low rpm, its either too rich or too lean. I have spent alot of time tunning cruise maps.

Microtech has alot of features designed especially for rotaires, thats why they are used alot.
