  3. Nice call joel, the SA guy now bags out small jap engines, he seems to have forgotten that turbos originate from japanese cars and if it wasn't for the import scene he probably wouldn't have a turbo bolted to the side of a LS1 V8.........
  4. That is exactly why i did it that way, i got a complete RB30de for $50 and used the complete block, i thrash it to 7000rpm every day without a single worry ( but it still hasnt gone bang).
  5. It is much easier to take the engine out to do a head swap, if you know what your doing the engine can be out in around 1 hour, then it is simple to change heads. When you have the engine sitting infront of you on a stand, you can easily get to any bolt, nut or hose, it just makes the whole process simpler and quicker.
  6. Darren has a point there, the engine in mine is by far the cheapest part ( cost of head and gaskets +$50 VL engine!!!!)
  7. Its simple and all in the microtech book, have a read. Also you only need one map/programe to run various boost levels because the microtech maps fuel/timing vs boost so if your only using 14psi the ECU will only run up timing/fuel to 14psi, then if you turn the boost up to 20psi the ECU will use the 20psi maps.
  8. R32 GTS4s came with the RB20DET, R33 GTS4s came with the RB25DE (non-turbo)

  10. I have the extreeme 9 puk and its handing 312rwkw with 3.0L torque, so it should handle 200rwkw easy as. Try checking your pedal adjustment , sounds like the pedal is adjusted too far and pushing on the slave without your foot on it.
  11. My R32 hit factory boost cut at around 13-14 psi, it would usually cut out at around 4000rpm.
  12. The car HASN'T been re-sprayed since its been in australia ( im first owner in australia), it could have been done in japan because the condition of the paint is still immaculate. Car has done 103,000 kms. Currently has got a very good RB25 turbo gearbox in it (will sell with the car if Offered enough). Where are you located?

  16. I wouldn't use a POD without some kind of cold air box to mount it in.

  18. Currently has a RB30det in it. Would consider selling with the RB30det and an Aftermarket ECU for a bit extra. Let me know what you think.
  19. Are theese bearing numbers both big end like you have said, or is one a number for the mains(crank)?? If not what is the main bearings part number?

The car with the RB20det it has made 190rwkw @ wheels and ran 12.9 sec @ 116 MPH on 17" street tyres. Im selling the car due to upgrade to a GTS4. Looking for offers around $14,990 neg.
  21. I thought tat colour was only avaliable on R33 GTR, think he told my mate a dude in melbourne got it sprayed that colour, Damian got it from him.

  24. A mate of mine bought a R34 2 door gt-t of a dude on this site, it had been re-sprayed in midnight purple. R34's are nice cars.
  25. Have tou had the GTR and GTS4 boxes in pieces? Are the gear and sahft sizes the same ( apart from ratio). Are you sure all R32 GTS4 turbos came with 4 stud wheels??
