matt, Theres a heap of results on the evo forums from USA, they make some big power on high boost and run into the 8s down the 1/4mile... Whats getting done to your motor, what head?

I had a bit of a chat with him, he is an old school drag racer, used to race a vl out there when i was racing my vl 10 years ago. Also its only 2wd, i thought stageas were alll 4wd.

Thanks darren,its great fun on the road, and actually gets more traction on the street. did you go out to the drags for a look? See the rb30 stagea? Ive only got the crappy looking in tank filter, will look at another, does putting one on the pressure side of the pump effect injector flow?

Haha, if u can get the thing off the manifold u can, id say its near impossible with out an oxy torch. Lol. I nearly went the gt35/to4z hiflow before i decided on the hta, aparantly a fair bit of extra lag Is what put me off, is that the case with steves? Btw, how does steve get away with running in the 10s without andra approved car? Or has he had it passed? They were straight onto me last meet

Josh Id be definately goin the 3586hta on a falcon 4litre, with motor that size i dont think ud notice the spool much. U gota remember when FP say 500 rpm difference most of their turbos go on 2litre evos, id guess ud be very gard to notice when actually driving the car on a 4litre. Also the hta3586 is more responsive than a gtx, there is a guy who had a similar setup to mine, we both had gt35r and i switched to hta3586 and gained 200rpm im spool, he switched to gtx35 and lost around 300rpm spool. Both were without any other changes.

Forced performance HTA range is a better option than Gtx, same or more power than gtx with better response

Yea i would say about 10.3 with a good launch and bit of boost. I looked into cage sone time ago but its not just that its alot of other stuff that is required, harness, scattersheild, external battery isolator etc. plus super sedan licence snd regular tech inspections. I decided its too expensive and too hard as its just a steeet car that i would like to race only occasionaly.

Yea r32 gts4. Unfortunately at adelaide you cant run under 11sec without a cage so only get one shot at it. I did do a 1.67 60' on my first run but got off it at half track coz i thought it wasnt a very good launch. Have done 1.58 at another track before but was only 1/8 mile.

Ran mine at the drags on saturday, did a 10.7@135mph, wasnt my best launch, but had to stop racing as i dont have a roll cage

11.0 needs cage, scatter sheild, harness and a few other smaller things. I did look into it but theres a fair bit of cost involved, and its only a street car.

Only time its been on the 1/4mile, and unfortunately last time as im not keen on putting a cage, harness, scatter sheild etc and getting regular tech inspections to meet andra rules. Its a pitty they wont modernize their rules a bit. I have run better 1/8mile times before at whyalla.

On that run 1.78. First launch i did 1.67, but didnt think it was good so got off it half track. Have done a 1.58 60' at whyalla but thats only 1/8mile track.

I dont know why they dont run them more regularly. Ended up running 10.7@135mph with a pretty average 60' launch.

Last street meet, there are comp meets but they cost double

Gates open at 8am If your not pre entered its best to get there early coz they limit entries to 200 cars, there is 100 already pre entered. Cost is $60 to race and $20 day licence. This is the last street meet for the year as far as im told.

It can be a handfull at times when it spins all 4 wheels, but have got used to it over the years with the gt35 on, now with the hta it comes on even harder with bit more wheelspin.
