Should go 10.3- 10.5 sec if it wants to get off the line. Think the transfer case is nearly stuffed , cant get the 60' times i used to run anymore.
-
Have run it on 1/8 mile here at 400rwkw ran 6.8@106mph. Was meant to race 1/4 mile tomorow but meeting cancelled. Cant go past a well set up gt35 for around 400kw with great response.

On the road (bit more load) it reaches 20psi at 3200rpm on the autronic logs. I Was running 24-25 psi increasing to 26psi in the higher revs after peak torque, using bp 98 with a bit of water meth injection. I will have to do a log to see what rpm 26psi is id guess 3300-3400.

Run out of time, but i think more boost and setting my cam gears back to 0 would see 450kw may be 460kw, wich would be getting close to tne 75lb of compressor flow fp rate the hta turbo at.

Back on the dyno today to finish off my tune and test for exhaust restrictions. Made 436rwkw with the exhaust dropped at the dump pipe ( which is 3.5" from turbo) , and made 434rwkw with the full exhaust (which is only 3" from dump pipe back. Picked up a few kw and got a flatter power curve setting u the autronic boost controll to add a bit of boost to the higher rpm, from memory it was making over 425kw from 6000rpm to 8000rpm, which should help drag times a bit will post graph later.

Hta 3586

Yea i was very suprised on my first drive, car definately starts building boost slightly earlier, but the biggest difference is how fast boost gets from 5 psi to 20 psi, the old gt would build to 5 psi then slowly to 10psi before it would start spoeding up to 20, where as the hta just straight to 20psi much faster.

The gtx 35 wheel is only .5mm larger exducer and 1mm larger inducer over the gt35. Where as the hta wheel is 4mm larger exducer, and is still more responsive than the gt wheel.

I have seen a guy go from gt35 to gtx35 and resopnse was slightly worse, which suggests the hta compressors are better design than the multi blade gtx for response.
-
I would agree its up to the op to decide if its worth spending the cash. My opinoion is same as 34 geetees, well worth the upgrade not just for power increase, but beter boost response, its realy amazing i went to a 4mm larger compressor, but boost response improved a heap, must be very well designed.

I tried wastegates, exhaust, intercooler pressure drop, signal hoses. And couldnt fix my boost drop, turns out the compressor was out of flow and as soon as i put the hta it solved this. he is looking to upgrade to a hta , and im just saying its a good idea coz it will probably fix the boost issue. Sounds like ur dead against hta, may be try one and see why people hype about them, theres good reasons for it.
-
Since your boost drops from 20 psi to 16, you may benefit from going the hta3076, and i would think it would then hold 20psi to redline. Mine was boost dropping same as yours before i switched to hta. And whack a .82 rear on the hta and it should be similar or better in spool than your current setup, and make a heap more power
