Hi, Just wondering if anyone has a R33 S2 GTSTwith a GTR (copy) frontbar/bodykit? I just want to see what it looks like before i buy one cause i've only seen it on a S1. If so can you please post a pic or direct me to one. The reason being is that the S2 have slimmer lights and i just want to know what it looks like. thanks steve

Hi Guys, I really appreciate all your inputs... from what i've read the "cheapest" (although probably not the most reliable) is to either buy a block or a half-cut. If i were to buy this block or half-cut from an import parts dealer like jap motorsports, sss automotive etc, do you guys think my chances of getting a better engine is higher? I think they also have like 6mth warranty on the engine but i think this warranty requires a whole heap of conditions. Once again guys, thanks for your help. Regards Steve

Hi, Can someone please help me out a little... I got a basically stock S1 R33 GTST with an assumed blown engine (wont start and seems like no compression). Should i get half-cut, just a block or should i get a rebuild. I'm stressed on finances so the best value for money opinion would be great. I just though that if i get a half cut, then the labour costs maybe cheaper than i were to just get a block and then get all the accessories transferred over. Anyone know what a block could possibly cost? I dont know how much a rebuild will cost (as there is still labour costs for diagnosing to charged aswell). Once again any help would be great. Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows where i could possibly get a valley cover seal from? I want to degrease my engine but i think the seal is worn out and i dont want any water getting inside. Any help would be great. Steve

i got that quote from Nissan in the brisbane area.. Cant remember which one cause i tried a few. But yeah, the bloke at nissan did tell me to try an import parts place as they will be a lot cheaper... and they were right.. Anyway, i got my relay from rscomponents.com.au. They will have to order it from the UK. I did an exact search (from the info given on the relay) and that's what they provided me with. hope it helps.

yeah.. it was one of the filaments... the car was at the mechanics for something else and the mech said it was the bulb.... thanks guys. sorry for the dumb question

Hi, I've got a R33 with the left most rear light not lighting up when the brakes are pressed. it turns on when the lights are turned on and a check of the bulb shows that the circuit is intact. where else can i start looking and what could possibly be causing this? any help would be great. thanks

Primordial, let me save you the surprise... i thought i had a dead abs unit in my 33 too so i asked nissan... guess what they priced me...$4.5K... luckily, with the help of another member i found out myself that i had a dead relay (black box attached to pump)

Hi Guys, Just thought i'd let you know the cause of my ABS problems... after all tests by mechanics/autoelectricians (who couldnt tell me jack sh*t even after i told them that it could be a relay) and took my money anyway, i did what Locky said and replaced a faulty relay (the coil had broken). ABS light and problem went away and now ABS is working like a charm... So thanks heaps LOCKY!!! and check the relay first..

Hi, Doesnt your piping hit gutters etc... my car isnt lowered and it still hits even with care. Also, if i move the washer bottle, where would the best location be cause i dont believe it can move back. it would have to move to the other side of the car... unless i get a totally different bottle... any suggestions?

So... are you saying my washer bottle can stay where it is without interfering with the piping?? cuz i know the S1 dont have the washer bottle there and i havent seen where S2 2 door's washer bottles are located. Also, are S2 2 doors the same as that of a sedan.. cuz i got a sedan. However, getting back on the original topic... would a radiator place would be the best option to get the cooler end tanks modified?
