  1. Hi, Interested in the Factory blinkers and driving lights....Are they working? Also would you consider posting interstate.. I'll pay the postage...
  2. Hi, I'm going to install my FMIC (universal one - 600x300x70) on my R33 and was just wondering how many had to get your reinforcment bar (metal bar that holds the front bar up) altered to have the cooler fitted. From what I have seen, not too many, just about all reinforcment bars (bottom section) had to be cut out. Any help would be great. Also anyone know where i can buy 120 Degree Stainless steel bends? Online preferrably. Thank you Regards Steve
  3. Hi Guys, Thanks so much for your help.. Will try some of the advice you guys have given..once again thanks
  4. Hi, Just remembered that I'm using all the standard plugs etc that was in the car before i added the bleeder valve... So any more help would be great. Thanks steve
  5. Hi, Thanks.. I'll give that a go..
  6. Hi, I've got a SII skyline with just an exhaust (full). With this exhaust it was running 9psi (without upping the boost). I then put in a bleeder valve ,(GFB brand) and ran it at 10psi. It was running perfect on all gears without any "cutting out". Then the next day it started cutting out very often. I have since removed the bleeder value and the engine is only running a measly 7psi (with the exhaust) but still cuts out... Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong and maybe what i can do to fix it? any help would be much appreciate it. thanks, Steve
  7. Hi Ben, would this include no mods to the water and oil lines? ie, stock oil and water lines can be used...
  8. Hi Guys, I know that a bolt-on turbo KIT will likely come with a manifold, wastegate, dump pipe, oil and water lines and the corresponding turbo but in the situation.... When an advertisement for a turbo (turbo only) says that it is bolt on , does this mean that this turbo will bolt to the standard manifold without modification (ie, no need for an external wastegate or flange modification)? Also, does this mean that the standard oil and water lines need not to be changed? Any help would be great. Thank you. Regards Steve
  9. PLEASE DISREGARD THIS POST. i HAVE MANAGED TO FIND MY OLD POST IN REGARDS TO THIS TOPIC. THANKS. Hi Guys, I know this question has probably been posted a million times but please help me out. My car is approaching the 100K (85500K actually) and I want to get the timing belt changed as the car seems to be sounding slightly bad. I preferrably want to change idler bearings, belt and what ever is usually contained in a timing belt kit (if skylines have one) all in one go, not just the belt. Do you guys reckon I need to change the water pump as well? Where can I get these components (this is important)? Also, I do not live anywhere near the capital cities so there are not many performance shops around and where there is one, they mainly work on holdens or fords. Could just any mechanic perform this service or would I have to take it to a performance shop, after all it is just a timing belt change. Lastly, what price range should I be looking at for this total service (price and parts included)? Any help would be great. Thanks.. Steve
  10. Hi, I dont know too much but just thought this could be of help. If the problem is not panels or bodykits, could be idler bearing... I had an exact problem with another car (not my skyline). So if your car has done close to 100K and the timing belt etc has not been changed, take this into account. Steve
  11. Could you send pics to No1_Scoobs@hotmail.com. Thanks.
  12. Hi guys, I'm chasing some opinion on what combinations of shocks and springs i should get for my R33 Skyline Sedan Series II. I want the car to be lowered, but be a good performer on a circuit (not that i will doing this with the car). Also, i want value for money so any opinions would be great. Lastly the places and price where i can purchase these would be great too. Thanks steve
  13. Hi guys, I just learned late last night that my R33 Skyline Sedan Series II was just hit up the ass (fortunately not too badly). Now I need to at least a rear bumper (all I could see in the dark). Does anyone know of any good places where I can find this part? Also any good importer who may be able to get it for me from Japan? Lastly, do you think it would be cheaper if i just bought an aftermarket rear bar (if there are any)? any help would be great. thanks, steve
  14. Hi, I know this is a long shot, but does have a spare R33 Skyline Sedan Series II rear bumper for sale? if so, let me know.. cheers.
  15. Thanks guys, much appreciated. Ben, where did you get the idler bearing etc from? contact nubmer? Also how much should i be looking at for these bearings? thanks steve
  16. Hi, I was just wondering if the process to change the Timing Belt in a R33 Skyline Series II is complex? Where can I buy this timing belt from? I've got a mate who probably can do it but I dont want to ask him if it's going to be a lengthy task. Also, what price should I be looking at if I was to get this done via a workshop/mechanic? Any suggestions on where to get it done (ultratune?) Lastly any suggestions on what should be replaced so that it will save me Labour cost in the future (eg. water pump?) Any help would be great. Thanks. Regards Steve
  17. Thanks Jay95... in regards to that little unit, that's not a little computer (PC) is it? or is it more of a standalone dvd etc player?
  18. Hi, My SII R33 Skyline came with one of those factory Nissan Screens that are used for a GPS. Does anyone know if i can use this monitor for anything else (eg. attach a playstation or dvd player to it)? there is a button on it saying TV/CD but everything is in Japanese so I dont have a clue what it means. Any help would be great. Dont want to waste this screen. Thanks Steve
  19. Hi, I'm considering putting a FMIC in my R33 Skyline and was just wondering I could use some of the standard piping kit (eg. get custom made pipes from the cooler to connect to the standard piping)? If anyone has any ideas/suggestions about problems, it would be great. thanks Regards Steve
  20. thanks guys....
  21. Hi, Does anyone know whereabout the fill and drain bolts for the gearbox are located in a R33 Skyline GTST? Also, does anyone also know roughly how many litres of g/box oil is required... just want to make sure i have enough. thanks in advance. Steve
  22. Hi, thanks.. I'll give the glaziers a go...
  23. Hi thanks for the repsonses guys.. much appreciated. When i press the clutch and let it sit for 1/2 a second, the gear change will happen with very little noise. it's only when I change normally (not letting the clutch sit in) that it crunches.
  24. Hi, I have a '96 R33 Skyline Series II and when I change gears from 3rd to 4th and from 4th to 5th, it crunches... even when I drive it nicely. It used to only do it when going from 3rd to 4th... Would a gearbox oil change be the first thing to perform (can you do a oil change in the gearbox?)? Also, I supposedly have a Patrol clutch in my car (thats what the import car yard I bought it from told me). Also, this crunching came was evident from the dealer. any suggestions would be great. Thanks Steve
  25. Hi, Just hoping someone can direct me on where to get repairs to my driver's side mirror. some little brat cracked the mirror. Can I just go to any glass cutter and get them to cut out a mirror to fit, or must i need to buy the whole driver side mirror assembly? Any help would be great. thanks Regards Steve
