If they ban P platers driving high powered cars and dont do anything about driver training, whats the next step... banning low powered cars??? And why is it every time i see a P plater crash a commodore or falcon there is no shout out to stop P platers driving these cars. The fact is that any car can go fast. The two speeding fines have recieved were in my mums mazda 626 when i was 18, and a year later in my EA falcon. I am a much more relaxed driver for 2 reasons. 1) i respect my car 2) Defensive driver training We cant keep blaming the cars for deaths of young people on the road, although it can be a factor its not the only one.

What can you say, driver training is insufficient and restricting P platers from driving high powered cars isn't going to increase their ability. Standard family cars like falcons and commodores can still do high speeds they just don't get there as quickly and don't stop as quickly. Defensive driver training should be compulsory and should be subsidised in some way. :end rant:

Just wanted to find out some information about the different dump pipes out there. You can spend anywhere from $250 to $800 bucks on them. Is there much of an advantage in spending extra money on the dump pipe powerwise also? Any help much appreciated, Dick

About 400 square metres give or take 400 square metres. Big difference. i came from a falcon to a 33. but you dont buy a skyline for its storage space generally.

Turbo timers a great if your lazy. when you get home late you can just walk away and goto bed and not have to sit in your car. Its just a lazyness factor.

you cant drive a r33 turbo legally on your P's in Vic. You will get defected. Get some experience in a shit box for a few years and save more money for a skyline.

1 - No smoking ever! 2 - i can make up rules on the spot 3 - i will make you walk if rule 1 or 2 is disobeyed, not from where we were when you break the rules, i will drive you further away from your house then kick you out

i went down there a few months ago and there weren't many imports. Mondo used to stock imports but now lots of fords and holdens when the 15 year rule came in. there is also JSA in coburg. ring them before hand and tell them what you want. they dont have many cars on the lot but have a large warehouse.

If you have been defected for the exhaust being to loud and it is proved not to be, surely you can contest part of the fine? isn't that like charging someone with robbery because you "think" they have the same stereo that was stolen

I was up there last weekend, didnt go past kennett river. There is optimax in anglesea and im 90% sure that there ultimate in Lorne.

Any GTR. love old Chevs aswell, especailly the big block 60's camaros. Love classics but can't help but wow at the lambo's and the ferraris.

Just starting to get into modding the car and looking at blowing some dosh soon. Picking some wheels up soon and was looking at a FMIC. Found a Hybrid Intercooler Kit from http://www.flyn.com.au/hybrid_intercooler.htm for $1149. Just wanting to see if you think its a decent deal or you have any other better ideas you can suggest. I have read that the GTR intercoolers are also a good option, where can you pick these up? Bit new to all this so any info you can supply is great. Cheers Dick

just saw it on the news, was a dark r33. think it was a 2 door but it was hard to tell because it was pretty messed up. Can't stand how imports are going to be targeted now. you don't see cops going after high powered p plate commodores after one of those goes through a house each month. bah! glad im off my p's now

I drove my 33 for the last month and a bit on my P's and never had a problem. Not sure if its legal though
