Hi peoples.... Just got an intercooler that was custom made.. and decided to get it pressure tested, it came back as holy pope john paul 13 leaks in total! The welding is nothing special at all! The bar an plate core is apparently worth about 500 - 600 so i was wondering if anyone knows of anyone who can repair it or completely cut off these end tanks and put some new ones on? Any opinions and recommendations would be great! Thanks Trav

haha it does help ..... but it doesn't.. I thought that was what was meant to be coming through that line.... but in this case its not... theres oil coming from that line. So its been modified to suit the turbo thats on it. OR It is a ECCS red top ... so would this be different to the silver top? I can see this being a PIG of a job! Trav

Also i have another question.. i think the existing lines have been modified to suit the turbo that was on it.. What runs through the line that runs from underneath the plenum around the back of the motor to the turbo on a standard setup. Oil or water? Any more answers would be greatly appreciated! looking to get the zed up and running this weekend.

Thanks r32-gts So can i use standard r32 oil and water lines? The rb20 that i've just got has a T3 on it from a FJ20turbo and it is only oil cooled... and the other banjo's on the block are plugged up. So i need to know if the 32 lines will bolt straight up. Its not a ball bearing one. Thanks again Trav

Yeh slight difference between 14k and 1.2k anyway R32... Anyways my plan was to put an SR20det in it but i don't have the time!! I'd like to buy one already done and would spend up to 10 - 11k... How much have you spent on yours YRL05S? Anyways its still for sale.. think i might go trading post!

Datsun 1600, 1969. Some repairable damage.. A new rear quarter will need to be welded in. Apart from that the rest of the body is in excellent condition with only a slight dent in one door. All the doors open cleanly and shut perfectly, the paint work is also very good but may need some touch ups. The car has prelude bucket seats, professionally tinted windows, very firm sports suspension, good carpets, new roof lining, good dash, 4 extra gauges, has alarm and central locking but no controls, sigma 14” alloys, extractors and sports exhaust coming from a L16 motor which was in running order but just needs carby and extractors to be put back on plus a coil. It also has a 5 speed box and air horns. fatz.... 4k on a gas system?? I got quoted $1700 drive in drive out.. so then i gots $2300 to spend on a massive turbo.. then keep up with me damqik GTS-T .. u sound like you know a lot about his issue.. do you know anyone who has done the conversion on an RB series engine? in your personal opinion would you say its worthwhile?
