My 32 gtr has a Nistune running 310rwkw. It has e85 1000cc injectors hks gtss turbos dumps exhaust.. from what I have read I have now maxed out my afm. I was thinking of buying the nismo afm and getting a haltech ecu. Is this a good option or do I just need to upgrade my afm? -

Ok I ended up installing the Nistune which is great I am now getting 310rwkw have I maxed it out? As I will he going for more hp is it time I changed I was thinking the haltech.. what can it do that my Nistune can't?

Haha ok thanks.. it's seems that the general consensus is it makes no real difference and that money would be better off spent on something else..

Thanks.. as I'm replacing every other pulley there I thought I would do the same to the balancer. As it's a 25 year old car now it makes sense. .

I'm not going to argue with that but.. like I've said products develop the same harmonic balancer built by ross in 06 well I dare say might have improved in 2015 .. no?

Like I've said in a different post products evolve different products get released just because it's been asked before doesn't mean there are not different thoughts on the matter. Hi i am about to do the timing belt and water pump. Pretty much a major service on the car. I have bought greddy pulley kit and was wondering whether to update the old harmonic balancer. Is the ross metal jacket balancer a worthy upgrade?

Lol..Yes I have 310 rwkw but will be a lot more later.. as the car will also be getting a re-tune with some cam gears . Will it be worth getting the greddy plenum?

Hi i am about to take out the standard plenum to update some old heater hoses under it. In doing so I thought it might be a good idea in replacing it. Will going to a greddy plenum improve my engine at all?

Hey I'm looking at upgrading my afm. What's the difference in z32 and the nismo afm? Are they both a direct bolt on or does one need modification to fit on my apexi air intake? Is one better than the other ?

I have standard afm on my 32 gtr and I think there maxed out now with 310 rwkw. Looking at upgrading to z32 if they will bolt straight on or if not go with the nismo afm as they are a direct replacement.

Thanks again everyone.its clear that aftermarket cams are not worth it on a 2.6 so cam gears have been ordered and I'll post the results when it's done

What kind of gains could I expect with cam gears and the stock cam?

Awesome thanks cam gears with stock cams it is.. no need to open the top for 5 kw.
