  1. bringing up a vry old thread so i'm sorry, but... i have spent half my day yesterday reading through 70+ pages in the other brake upgrade thread and as always it ended with mixed opinions and was very confusing. basically i am looking at r33 gtst and r34 gtt brakes for my "00 c34 stagea series 2 and i am now unsure which ones will fit. can anybody help? don't like the idea of all the minor mods to get the 33 brakes on as well
  2. wow sorry for the typos
  3. i hade my car dyno's using nitune by chasers in west melbourne, i gave them my ecu number and they oredered everything to suit, installed it and tuned it no problems. (also got 550cc injectors and plugs from scotty)
  4. Cat back exhast only will make it hard to get around 200kw mark, I have a full 3" turbo back xforce system on mine and noise when cruising is no problem at all even with the added drone of having a wagon. Definitely keep an eye out for a 2nd hand system and just make sure the mufflers are in good nick so you can minimize noise but still have no problems with restriction in the exhaust. As others said rather than screwing around trying to fine tune everything with various mods just go exhaust first to have good starting point to see what mods you need rather than going all out on a restricted exhaust. Sorry for the essay and any typos which I am prone to with lack of proof reading
  5. As the topic says I'm after a drive shaft for my 2000 c34 II, dust boot shit itself and don't want to get those stretch over covers and nissan want $1,100 for one so I'm just gonna go ahead and swap the driveshaft out. can do a swap if anyone wants to take my shaft (lol) and I'll give some cash your way. Let me know what you have
  6. Will keep you guys in mind thanks I owe my mum a little money as she helped me pay for the tune and some parts (yea she's awesome )
  7. Just did a quick google search of 400kw fuel mods for rb26 and found somebody who made it there with bosch044 pump and sard 1000cc injectors. Seemed to be a similar engine set up to yours as well
  8. With the bigger outlet doed that mean I need new piping as well for it to go back to the intake or just the rubber pipe?
  9. And I need a bigger bov because I'm getting hektik flutterz as well as the woosh from the bov. (I think that's what would cause it)
  10. Kiwi I was speaking to the people at chasers and they were saying they were surprised I went over 200kw seeing as it's auto and was tuned in awd. I am really happy with the results though, can't wait to get out at calder park next week @mic I have an enclosure I made out of bunnings plastic which seems to do the job for now but thanks for the suggestion
  11. Sorry for sideways pic but finally got the tune and made 223.3 awkw :3
  12. Basically need my car towed from airport west to chasers auto on dynon road. Exploring all my options before I resort to paying like $200 just for 10k's.
  13. Couldn't hurt to re do all gaskets and flush ecerything while you're there. Only thing to worry about would be the goo in I think the second pic near the water jackets? I've never fully had any rb motor apart before so I could be wrong but nobody likes sludge
  14. Very unsure if srs Much worry Plz run car with belts on Wow
  15. The one could be a pulley on the motor or an idler, if the whine is consistent while revving with the whine while putting the engine under load it most likely won't be the turbo. Have the car running and stick your head under the bonnet amd pull the throttle cable a few times to try and pinpoint where the noise is coming from
  16. My tune is part of a package with a nistune that's why I'm going with it
  17. Alrighty then, I have been led to believe that it was, my bad for not lookong into it properly
