  1. Very nice mate, was thinking of doin the same project but unfortunately can't afford it due to buying a house. Have fun
  2. thanks cubes i'll be pickin up a mr30 ballast pack then. thanks heaps for your help.
  3. Hey cubes what ECU do you run??? if the high impedance of the RB20 injectors is about 12ohm and the MR30 resistor is about 5.5ohm the final impedance would be still around 7 ohm, according to everones feedback is that the GTR injectors impedance should be around 2.5ohms. Is this suitable to run with a Apexi Power FC???? Any help would be great. Also has anyone got the part number for the GTR ballast resistor???
  4. Hey guys, this is just a confirmation question. Can you use the MR30 ballast resisitor with the GTR injectors and if so does anyone know what resistance these MR30 resistors are?? Thanks guys
  5. Cheers To4GTR all is sorted then i've got myself some new injectors, haha bring on the power
  6. I tried a search but nothing specific about R34 GTR's. I was just after confirmation the R32 GTR and R34 GTR injectors are identical or at least compatible with the ballast resistor. Thanks for your reply TurboX, cheers
  7. I got them fairly cheap off a mate who needed money but if thats all everyone is gunna offer then i'll just keep them, they set my car off perfectly and i've had heaps of comments about them. So it looks like i'll just hold onto em
  8. Hey guys, i've been offered some R34 GTR injectors (part #0010 9718D) apparently 460cc in exchange for my spare RB20 box. What i'm wondering is 1) will they fit (do i need different rubber 'o' rings) and 2) will i need a ballast resistor from the 34 or 32 to fix the resistance difference. Any info guys would be great, cheers.
  9. Alright everyone point taken, fair enough 15k is over priced. I'll be realistic so if any one out there just wants them, make a serious offer and they'll probably be yours. I need the money coz a house is now my main priority.
  10. Hi guys, I've got an RB20 DE and gearbox thats for sale everything is in good condition, parts are as follows: - RB20 DE w/130,000kms including throttle body, crank angle sensor, ignition pack, coil packs, intake plenum and full engine bay loom. $300 -RB20 gearbox $500 -R32 diff centre $250 Everything is in great condition with no noises and knocks. If theres any parts on the motor that anyone needs feel free to PM and i'll see what i can do
  11. Hey Mafia, yeah around that but best offer. As you can see there in perfect condition behind the number plate covers and would be the perfect finishing touch to any quality skyline.
  12. Hi guys, well the time has come to part with my number plates. I don't really want to sell em but looking to buy a house and i need a deposit. They've never been shown or in any mags or anything like that so the buyer will be getting a unique plate A great plate for any model skyline whether it be drag, show or street. I'm after around $15K or best offer. My mobile number 0405144982 or send me a PM or e-mail on [email protected]
  13. Yeah mate, I had the same problem and had to cut the pipe. Also there's no mount for the rubber grommet on the bottom so just hose clamp like dangerman4 Good Luck
  14. Hey mate, just wondering where you are ?????
  15. It is a good idea, if you don't you won't get the qouted fuel supply as it doesn't have the specified voltage because the the standard loom only supplys around 11.6V.
  16. Hey guys, wierdly enough i read an article in fast fours not all that long ago, it was the september 2006 issue titled "Sinister Power For your RB". Straight up your ally dxcorolla. It goes into a little detail about what combinations ie crank, rods, and pistons to make RB21, RB22, RB23, RB24and even a RB25 but no real talk of machining issues. If you can't get a copy just give me a PM and I'll try to scan the pages and e-mail them to you. Good Luck i'll be following your journey closely as i'm a little worried about my bottom end too
  17. Thanks Paulr33 i'll double check your FAQ, I've already bought the turbo for my RB20 (Not bad considering i only paid $800 w/oil line and water fittings) Why do you say poor mans spec is there something i should be worried about????
  18. Hey guys, after reading the forums for a while i'm seriously considering a RB30DET into my R32. I've only just recently purchased an AP Engineering computer and was wondering if this can be used with the standard sensors and loom from my RB20 or will I have to sell my current computer and buy another. Also would a HKS 2540 turbo be suitable for the RB30????
  19. I had a similar problem but mine was the gasket between the pump cradle and the tank itself, i had a mechanic install a new pump and he stuffed a few of the threads so the cradle wouldn't seal properly when i took it for a hard drive it just stunk of fuel Could be your problem, remove the inspection plate in the boot after a hard drive and check if theres any fresh fuel spilt out on top of the tank. Good luck
  20. Yeah i can understand what your saying mad082 but i'm not cutting the manifolds but unbolting the top half from the bottom runners and fabricating a new top chamber. I'm also going to shape the manifold much like the jun and plazmaman manifolds, aswell as use the trumpets on each individual runner to maximise good airflow. I'm not after huge gains just shorter intercooler pipes for better spool up and colder charged air. At the moment i'm running a HKS 2540 on my RB20 and it doesn't spool up till nearly 4thou and i guess with all the extra pipe work the cold air would soon become quite warm again. And as for testing the manifold I am going to try and find a flow bench so i can hopefully get each runner fairly close to each other (hopefully)
  21. Hi guys, I'm in the process of making my own frount mount intake manifold for my R32 GTS-T and was wondering if i can use my old naturally asperated intake runners as a base for the manifold mounting plate. The reason I'm asking as i don't want to remove the intake runners from my turbo motor as its my daily driver. So, any one got any idea??? Cheers guys
  22. I bought one from City Ford about 2 months ago, got it for around $210 i think. Great pump noticed my car revved better under load so I think my old pump was on its was out. Hard wired it directly to the battery for constant 13.8 V current. Definately worth buyin one I reckon
  23. Cheers guys, i think i'll stick with the Z32. It was just an idea but you guys are making alot of sense. Thanks
  24. Thanks heaps mate, much appreciated
