  1. wrx and evo are still turbo so i dont think its emmisions
  2. i dont see anything wrong with holdens and fords drifting but dont think the 1000rwkw is neccasary...overdone.... its the car doing the drifting not the driver
  3. as far as i am aware the actual racing technique of left foot braking if used for ff cars that experiance understeer. By breaking with your left foot you shift the weight to the front of the car inducing slight oversteer all while keeping the revs up to blast out of the corner. something like that anyway
  4. its like sex but it has wheels
  5. this thread is stupid. some dude comes on saying v8's are the best and skylines are shit and you all reply with no skylines are the best and v8's are shit. truth is the new holdens are very decent cars....just skylines are better. but by saying v8s or holdens are shit is doing to him exactly what he was doing to you.
  6. heres a decent comparison http://members.lycos.co.uk/harryoz/Downloads/ v8's are the win
  7. nooooo your 35 info is one of the main resons i read SAU

    The R35....

but its not the same series at all. different engine different chassis(???spelling???) and different body. there is hardly anything that is the same except the name.
  14. non turbo s13 or a even a r31 skyline.
  15. just so u know a 180 is equally as powerful (not really but power to weight is similar) to a r33.
  16. Edit: after some discussion it seems that it is easier and cheaper to put a r32 rb20 into a r31 skyline as everything lines up correctly. any idea how hard it is to qire a 32 rb20 into a r31??? thanks left the orignial post for any comments regarding which swap u woudl reccomend. hi probly a pretty common question but couldnt find it. if i have missed it i am sorry :Bang: anyway i am thinking of putting a rb20det from a r31 half cut into a pintara and changing the front end panels. firstly i hear the swap is fairly straight forward is this about right??? are there any problems?? i heard something about tailshaft different sizes and gearbox crossmember not being the same??? anything else i shoudl take into account?? obviously ill need a exhaust, oil filters changed etc anything else?? panel wise is evreything relativly straigh forward?? anyone done this conversion, any tips?? or sites?? oh also are the brakes/suspension easy to swap over?? thanks appreciated Dim
  17. please no...this makes the new GTR look good.
  18. anyone seen legend of speed?? some oldish jap or chinese movie about street racing. decent movie although some effects can be quite funny.
  19. i dunno if anyone above noticed but welding 2 v6's together gives u a w12 not a w16 which this car has :|
  20. its a bit wierd that ACP publish both wheels and motor when they generally cover the same things.
  21. there is a page article with some pictures in septembers Motor magazine. i havnt got a scanner so i cant scan it sorry but maby somone else will. Main points are - Powered by 4cyl MIVEC Turbo with 240kw and 431nm torque - Release late 2006 -Evo 9 release january 2005 - new active lsd on front the pics are only drawings of a picture that was showen at the press confrence for a few seconds. Unrelated but i thought you might know. I read that the 206kw rule has been taken away is this true?? ( i have read about most of the new models being powerfuler just wanted to make sure)
  22. i remember there was sumthing about the EVO X in a magazine but i dont think it was speed. i got the last 3 speed issues and cant find it...ill keep looking.
  23. why is it at the top of the article they call it the R35 and at the bottom of the article the R36 ??? is it a different car or are they just confused?? or is it saying there will be no r35 and it will go straight to r36?
