  2. All good! Hope it works well for you. Cheers Mike
  3. My G4+ dwell table for r35 coils last 14 months.
  4. Had a Cusco Pillow ball castor rod in there for the last 10 tears, if this rubber one is not up to it I'll change back. So far its good.
  5. I just rebushed my rear with full nismo (bushes only) including subframe and diff. However as the car is around 355/345 F/R there was too much camber with the upper rear arm so used the Nismo pro rear upper arms which took the camber back to -0.8deg. Have a set of new set of Silk Road track and camber arms in case it wasn't right but happy with it now and the OEM eccentric bolt gives enough although cannot go past 0.8. Front has Ikeya upper with Nismo bush outside and Ikeya castor rod (hard rubber bush model) Mainly road car with occasional track day. Still drives good on the road.
  6. If your OEM ones are flogged out just replace them with OEM or Nismo. Wouldn't waste my time with short duration cheap plastic stuff unless you like pulling it down a lot.

  8. Lots of fine work going on there! Not one to nitpick but your turbo cooling outlet goes up and down and back up again. When you shut of the engine it will not thermal syphon and will boil (gas up) and not pull the heat out of the cartridge, rather than circulate . I plumbed mine back into the top tank of the radiator so the turbo outlet is slightly lower than the tank inlet. As long as its flowing uphill it will work. Just a thought!
  9. Sterling job, well worth the time and effort you put in!! Twins cannot beat an efficient EFR single for driving satisfaction. Looking forward to some in-car clips in the future.
  10. Yeah it does the job well! You mentioned an Inconel one, I looked at that first but gagged on the price https://www.turbosource.com/BorgWarner-EFR-IWG-turbine-housing-shield-p/ts-inconel-efr.htm
  11. Yeah I'm curious too. I have a genuine efr one to go on my 7163 and it's freakin huuuuuuge. Same beanie they fit on the 9180. One size fits.... Most https://www.ptpturboblankets.com/collections/borg-warner/products/ptp-efr-turbo-blanket
  12. Actually I cut some more off leaving around 30mm of thread and added an extension which I turned up to cover the spacer width.
  13. Update: Motec M800 + Boomslang Plug and Play Have one used M800 for sale with 1mB logging enabled and single wideband enabled. (comes with tuning adaptor cable also) This was fitted by GT Autogarage Brisbane as a piggy back to OEM. Purchased a Plug and play loom from Boomslang USA to run the Motec as stand alone but this is still new and has never been used. Reduced to $2200 shipping included
  14. If you are not worried about buying from overseas these guys are hard to beat. http://www.turbozentrum.de/en/turbos-co/borg-warner-efr/efr-8374/borg-warner-efr-8374-twin-scroll-t4/a-28014/ Shipping around AUD150.00 max all up AUD 2450.00 Bought mine Jan 2015 for AUD 2100 delivered to Japan. Prices have gone up a little but still cheeeeap! Food for thought mate and they are good to deal with.
  15. Couldn't find the Japan section so posted my 33 in here. Ex Auckland North Shore boy.
  16. I thought maybe NZEFI were using the IGN-A1 coils, what brand are those coils, VQ35DE ? Looks like a smart setup anyway!
  17. I don't suppose you would have a picture of that?
  18. No speed sensor fitted, when I ran all sorts of scenarios on matchbot it came close to the max but was always under. A few times with the old single acting efr supplied high boost actuator it would stick and it would hit 35 psi sometimes, no doubt oversped then. I will probably fit one just out of interest and send it to my Plex SDM dash. They're a great dash and configurable (can)
  19. Finally had a professional tune mine the other day (rb28 9:1 Tomei procam 260/10.25 8374 t4 .92 iwg double acting turbosmart actuator) The tuner asked me if I wanted the cams set for response or top end (light switch) . In Japan they still have the old school singles with not many efrs around so they always ask that question, probably why HKS made vcam. Anyway I said response please, and when I picked it up and asked if he adjusted the cams he said he didn't have to and was totally amazed by the turbo response. The cams are set as per Tomei spec card, I will get him to adjust them another day. I get full boost 1.5 kg around 3800rpm and around 450kw rear wheels on Jap 98 hi oku, not sure what gear it was done in (maybe 5) its a getrag with vspec r33 diff 4.11 The green line by itself is low boost 1.0kg dynorun_33gtr.mp4
  20. Do you still have any sets left?
  21. I'm using the turbosmart twin port actuator (14psi springs 3 turns preload) with 5.4w 4 port Mac valve @20Hz max d.c 60% for 1.6 bar boost @3800rpm. High and Low 3d boost maps on Link G4+ Had the EFR high boost canister but it is hopeless for good control and used to severely over-boost after 20 mins driving when WOT. It was about 20mm away from #1 runner so I extended the turbosmart actuator 50mm forward. Boost control is damn near perfect.
