  1. For sure! nice to know what you are seeing is correct.
  2. I paid 345 euro 1 1/2 years ago from this outfit. http://www.akracing-shop.de/KMS-Einspritzanlagen/KMS-CAN-Breitbandlambda-Set.html If you hunt around you may find it cheaper. I looked at the Chinese Ecotrons one first but have been burnt before buying from there so went with this one and no complaints. Went CAN to avoid voltage signal offsets etc.
  3. My previous M800 had a controller built in for my 4.9. Unfortunately the G4+ plug in has none so fitted a KMS eugo CAN a little xii but wtf http://kms.vankronenburg.nl/products/accessories-2/uego-can-controller/
  4. I have a G4+ and run open loop with a 3D duty cycle table which is a sort of pseudo closed loop and works really well. much easier to set up.
  5. Do yourself a favour and get a 2 port double acting actuator and a 4 port Mac valve. Lots of tuners swear by them now. http://www.turbosmartdirect.com/Product-Categories/Turbo-Specific-Actuators/Borg-Warner-EFR-Twin-Port-B1-Single-Scroll-14psi_2.html
  6. You should run it through matchbot, you will hit the right side wall and it will overspeed . I have tried countless configurations on match bot and rb26/28. The efr 8374 .92 is what I have, but if I could get e85 ( none in Nippon) then I would go 1.05 and wind it up. I've seen the light haaaaaaa!
  7. Good quality 10W40 Redline or even 5W40 its a balance between flow and support. That 0W20 has half the support than 10W40 at 100 degC but flow almost the same which is what you want for cooling, pulled my engine down recently for a look after 8 years on Redline 10W40 and bearings were a good and could have gone another 8 years easily. Track it a bit, which is the only time I flog it. Have a tomei pump/stroker similar set up to yours with oil pressure same as yours and making around 510awhp. Will fit an EFR 8374 in around 1 week so looking forward to doing that. Good luck anyway!
  8. look forward to your next rebuild
  9. if you mean me, not yet probably another month, still at work. I'm using a Fullrace IWG manifold so the drain has a easy run between 1&2 runners That turbo sounds sweet! looking forward to seeing it tuned ...you must have worked an all nighter to get that engine back together! Good job!
  10. AN10 5/8" id to the front drain.
  11. Going to remove my Bosch 044 + surge tank and fit a Pierburg/Walbro 360l pump in the tank and want to stick it in the bottom with a 30 micron sock. I see lots of people drop the whole r33gtr pump assembly into a r33 gtst with no dramas. Anyone used the gtst bracket in a gtr so as to site the pump lower. The Pierbug has no problem sucking as its positive displacement but the suction is big and I cannot find any 15mm id intank hose so need it parked at the bottom gtst style. No problem to bend bracket to suit just wondering if anyone has gone this way. Will be pushing 450awkw shortly on Jap high octane so need to upgrade.
  12. About average I reckon, for you. Feel sorry for newbies getting barked at by resident experts like you! haaaa
  13. Did you have a charisma by-pass per chance?
  14. You only need one 044 for pump fuel
  15. $75 it's not listed, but they sell separately, comes as part of a kit. Send these guys an email if you want one [email protected]
  16. Managed to find these from Boostresource, picked one up the other day.
  17. I have this one http://www.arc-brazing.co.jp/intercooler.html (M079) runs at Suzuka 2 hours nonstop (well once to refuel) and it keeps IAT perfect. The 100mm ones may take away from response a tiny bit, probably overkill. I removed a Trust 100mm drag IC and response improved and temps were the same. HKS make good ones too. I am in the middle of fitting a 8374IWG like you from 5s on a 2.8 stroker and it should be easily adequate.
  18. Not the obvious culprits then. You should seriously see what fault code is coming up, lots of things can trigger this. ie wheel speed sensors for one. Regarding far fetched - not at all mate Atessa takes rpm signal also and if the rpm signal fluctuates below a certain range say from hunting caused by fouled plugs it will error. \
  19. Yeah with the engine switched off start it and keep the rpm 1000 and above for a few minutes and see if the Alsd light is on, if it is not and you let it come back to idle does the Alsd light illuminate after a while again ? You may have a fluctuating idle that goes below normal and sends a low TPS signal to the Atessa cu which will cause the alarm TPS signal to Atessa on my r33 gtr vspec is 0.3 - 3.7 v if it falls outside of this it will fault. You could check the AAC valve (under plenum - 4 bolts and a plug) give it a clean and renew the joint. Idle can be adjusted with the screw. Lots of AAC cleaning threads here in SAU to help you. If you are not sure get someone else to do it, preferably a friend as a shop will probably sting! I am not saying this is your problem but it could be. Might be dirty plugs also causing hunting. Good Luck!
  20. Without knowing what the error code is it is possibly an out of range tps signal to atessa ecu. Start it again but keep rpm at 1000 for minute .... alsd still lighting up?
  21. Hey Geoff, do you have these bends for sale? did not notice them on you website.
  22. Thanks for the info, I looked at that stuff too and all the "should I shouldn't I wrap arguments" around the blogs. Some experts are dead against it but at the end of the day the hotter and faster it hits the turbine wheel the better plus a bit cooler in the engine bay. I went and bought an EFR8374 IWG .92 and will put a 3.5" downpipe ( cat back is 90mm ) which I will wrap in that inferno stuff as well. 7 hours is a long time I guess you did it in stages with a mask I hope, god know what it does to ones lungs. Was thinking of a flexible joint also. Not sure where you got yours but i have been getting pretty much everything from this site in the US apart from the turbo and manifold. http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/ 3 1/2 pipe bends/transition for the dump and hoses etc etc great site fast and reasonable freight. Bought a PTP turbo blanket of this outfit http://ptpturboblankets.com/EFR-Turbo-Blanket.html hope it hangs together. Anyway looking forward to your progress and results Cheers Mike
