  1. Ok I see your car is white....well I reckon you should dice those 2 you selected and go stealth. Try the apache wheels from TRYDIS' suggested website...www.stgeorgetyres.com.au I did a kwik 2 minute cut and paste for ya...wheel angles aren't right but it gives you a good indication anyway. The gold version aint bad either!!
  2. Just as the guy said... the normal Series II Mspec does not have the side skirts and rear pods, the front bar is the same across the board though. There is an aftermarket Mspec front lip too but it does not come as standard on the Mspec version.
  3. You see...its people making precipitative comments like this which forces many people to form opinions about certain types of individuals. People drive what they choose to drive, because...well, its their choice. Does it really divide you from the rest of the population by having a manual? Does it make you feel more superior? I bought an auto because its a street only car for one, and 2, I get tired of changing gears in the big smoke as I've become a rather lazy driver who doesn't parade through the streets arousing police with propulsive sounds of whoooshing through every gear change. I bet there's a few autos out there that could spank you off the line.
  4. Majority of people understand the implications of buying cars in this day and age. People don't buy cars in anticipation of how much return they'll receive back when it comes time to sell up. Cars are a way of life and depreciation comes hand in hand with that I'm afraid. We're moving into a more technologically driven society and this will evidently become the demise of older vehicles in years to come, along with the price of fuel. Money might rule our life in many ways but if you're concerned about losing 10 grand a year on your car you may as well sell up immediately otherwise accept the facts and just enjoy driving your car like the rest of us. I have thought many times about this yet concluded I'll probably just drive it into the ground or stick it in the garage and keep it forever. I won't let my passion for cars be defeated by a little money.
  5. If it works out that someone only wants the inside trim and not the electric window mechansim then let me know. cheers
  6. As per my previous post...are you willing to separate the cup?
  7. Ok, but you still have not answered my question. People will not buy this unless you can provide a little more info than currently on display here
  8. This is so old
  9. Not quite yours but pretty close
  10. Is there any chance you'll consider separating the drivers door trim? I'm only after the cup thing you put your hand in when pulling the door shut. cheers
  11. It appears there are several of you having issues here. Guys I can tell yas this chaps name is not Christian Willmer unless there are 2 guys using the name "ForcedRex7"...very possible by the sounds of the illfated activity being exercised here. To cut a very very long story short....I have dealt with him through other sources and yes I had problems myself receiving goods I paid for. Took me over a month and a lot of frustration to get a response from him and when I did it was complete racial slander at its worst. I'm not prepared to disclose any name and address details in this post but if you want to follow it up ya better PM me.
  12. ahh cheers I didnt see that bit...derrr!!
  13. Where can I find more information on this product? I can't find anything on the net just a vacant website with no product info.
  14. Where you from in UK anyway mate?
  15. A mate I used to work with in Hampshire back in 2001 wanted to bring his new MG convertible back to Oz. I can't remember the exact costs involved but I do recall him saying the freight alone for the car was friggin preposterous. He changed his mind pronto!
  16. I'm only asking this because there is a 300km/h speedo I'm looking at buying and the guy says it removes the ECU's 180km/h "speed limiter". I was sceptical about it so I asked him how does it acheive this. His reply was: "when your speedo in the stock issue hits 180 it tells the ecu you are at max and pulls the pin on the detonation so you are speed/rev limited the 300 kmh speedo doesnt have this signal back to the computer and there fore doesnt signal the engine to hold at 180 'the speedo is the limiter' in simple"
  17. Can somebody tell me if the speed limiter signal is activated from the speedo mechanism to the ECU when it hits 180 or from the RPM limiter? cheers
  18. Can we see some pics then?
  19. This was posted a week or so ago and apparently there is a WA region also in Japan
  20. Noooo!.. sorry to disappoint ya but thats the new corvette I'm afraid
  21. pfft!...yeah that's right you 'll be the one sighing with repentance when you get defected...I was only fortunate enough to escape defection due to the unprejudiced attitude of the inspecting officer. Most are not so lenient!
  22. ...I knew that was comin!! LOL!!
  23. This applies to "Passenger cars" and not "utilities" after 1st July 1989 but there are other vehicles not specifically mentioned.
  24. Dunno what part of the world you are living in but...it is a compulsory Australian Design Rule (ADR) No. 60/00 to have a third brake light fitted on all passenger vehicles manufactured after 1989. I myself was lucky to be let off with a warning when pulled over for this exact reason.
