  1. I can guarantee that they are not Jun coz they are what I originally wanted to buy... until I saw these. The bottom profile of the jun are more concaved and defined where as these ones are more subtle and less curved. Much nicer than Jun.
  2. They're definately not factory pods/corners/aprons/spats or whatever else you want to call them. I've done a heap of bodykit searching on the net and have never seen this type before.
  3. Does anyone know what brand of rear corners these are? I messaged the owner of the car a while back about this but never got a reply. cheers all
  4. Disconnect your battery, then whilst disconnected push the brake pedal hard down and hold for a few secs then release. Reconnect the battery. Now its reset.
  5. Apologies! I was unaware of this as that information was obviously pulled from another topic. I had sent Pete a message or two requesting an update on completion times but haven't got a reply as yet. Now I know why and understand totally. Very anxious to get this deflector installed.
  6. Pete, have you been eaten by a polar bear or what? People often misake trust for deception. When you make a committment to undertake a 'group buy', the majority of people come to realise what the word communication refers to in a metaphysical situation like this. How about letting some of us people who have given you money know what's going on with these deflectors? Induce a little clarity.
  7. I'm not throwing you a bottle of salty water but $200 is fairly pricey for a series 1 rear bar. I got my 97 series II in excellent condition for $50.
  8. I have only been informed of this information today. I do not know much about this as yet but i may go check it out for myself, and your right the doors need to checked.
  9. Has anyone here recently had their black R34 stolen? I have just been informed by a friend at work that he knows of a black R34 sitting in a street near where he lives which has possibly been stolen/abondoned. It has been sitting there for a lengthy period now with no activity and the council has now plastered a “TO BE TOWED” notice across the window. If this appeals to anyone here, let me know and I’ll have my mate get the VIN numbers. There could be many reasons for this car to be sitting there but maybe on the off chance this information may help someone recover their lost ride. cheers
  10. Hey mate...are you sure you aint make a booboo here?
  11. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-RB25-TURBO-E...1QQcmdZViewItem
  12. This is one hell of an ask I know but maybe someone knows someone out there who might have one laying around their garage. Needs to be reasonable condition too. cheers all
  13. Nah the only other sticker is a shiny square silver one and its all written in japanese. The old rim is still on my car so I think I'll have to get it off tomorrow nite. thanks heaps anyway man
  14. Crikey its more complex by the minute. Heres some pics I just took with all the info. 1st pics says 96/12 2nd says 17x8J / 35 / L 3rd says SA3R 17-1 Other than these details I'm bamboozled.
  15. Yeah I understand everything you're saying and this is I'm confused coz everything is identical. The offset, rim width and size are all identical to the rim I'm replacing, its just the spokes dont come out as much as the ones I already have on the front of the car. Maybe there was 2 different face designs I dunno. I got the rim from Yahoo actions Japan off a wheel dealer and everything he advertised matches what is on the rim so I now have frown written all my face...just cannot understand whats wrong.
  16. Can anyone tell me how is the width of a rim is measured/determined. Is it measured from the total width of the rim from both outer edges of the lip (inner and outer edges), or is it measured from inside the lip? Reason I ask is, I have just had delivery of a replacement front Super Advan 17x8J +35. This is the exact same spec (well meant to be) as the one its replacing but when I look at the profile of the spokes, it doesn't appear to be the same. The spokes don't come out as far. When I got the ruler out it appears to be almost a 9inch rim when measured from outer edges but has 17x8 stamped on the inside. Could it be a blunder on the manufactuers behalf? I'm sure there wasn't 2 variations in spoke design for this wheel but I'm no expert on this. Hope this makes sense and sorry for the naivety on my behalf. cheers
  17. don't use metho to clean off excess...use tea tree oil
