i've got the exact same problem. its not that the sub cuts out its the actual amp stops. i've also got 2 6*9s connected through the amp and they cut out to if i turn "loud" on, increase the volume of the sub or just turn it up pretty loud, it cuts out on the hi bass notes.. that sound about rite Terminal? edit: i also have a pioneer deck.

will this fit in a standard 180sx in tank? if so im keen to get it.. thanx

hey lucien, just want to confirm that money for both the units for me has been organised, but just wondering, and not trying to sound greedy here or anything, but as mentioned earlier, the pfc's for r33 are cheaper then the other versions for sale here (only $100 or so). is it possible to speak to brent and see if he can do a slightly better deal with the r33s? like i said i dont mean to sound greedy, but he is getting a sale of over 20 and he'd obviousy be making more from the r33's than other versions and i dont see why he shouldnt be able to make the same saving on both units which have the difference of 7500jpy ($92.00 AUD). so maybe, just maybe, we can get another buck in our pocket (which will be used to be spent on more mods ) please take it into consideration.. $92.00 - thats my dyno run with the pfc to tune thanx again babs

Yeah i have.. i've disconnected that completely and still get lag..

i've recently installed a turbosmart gated boost controller - single onto a pretty much stocker r33 skyline. now when the switch is 'off' i seem to be getting about 10psi with a slight flat spot starting around 4500rpm where boost wont hold. when the switch is 'on', set on roughly 12psi, i get a much longer flat spot where boost hits 12psi and just keeps bouncing between 12 and 10psi and the car basically will not pick up speed between 4000rpm and 6500rpm so what im asking basically is, is this normal? any way to fix it? and has anybody else have the same unit installed that can tell me what happens to their car? thanx in advance! babs
