  1. So little dirt under it? they probably washed it for that particular reason. to make people believe the ks. When I first got my car, it looked spotless under it like it was a brand new car. 5000ks later, it now looks as dirty underneath it as my dad's car with 100000ks on it.
  2. I still don't understand. What you just said contradicted itself. Firstly, you said it could dislodge buildup and block stuff. You then said that if you keep using goood oil, it won't build up? so what would be best to do in an engine with around 60ish ks?
  3. Why not? what's the big deal? Wow, some one can put it into the fast database and check what year it is, what options it came with. if you work with an insurance company or rta, you can check the address it's at. Once again wow. The same can be done if anyone gets your number plate. Anyone walking past your car can see that.
  4. either that, or did you disconnect the ground cable when you were working on it? did you reattach it properly? needs to be bolted down hard.
  5. click means battery is flat.
  6. 8k for a 93 model celica? shit, you can buy an r32 gtst for that price.
  7. just get a sheet of that gasket material. cut it out yourself. It can be rough. just make sure that the holes line up to the insid eof the flange.
  8. The thing that I never understand is peoeple say don't use flush coz it might dislodge and clog stuff. But if you never flush it, then it'll just build up more and more and more and then eventuall clog somethign else won't it? PErhaps someone knowledgeable with engine building experience can comment on this
  9. don't strip it down if you haven't tested it. You said that oil was burning on the manifold. That's what the catch can is for. storing oil. If your pipe melted, it's just oil coming out of the tank and burning on the manifold. The fact that the pipe got melted doens't matter. You can run the engine without any hosing connected to the cam covers.
  10. nos is cheap
  11. for 2000-3000 you will get nothing. Once you get the custom exhaust and intake manifolds, oil and water lines made etc, it will be 2-3000. Keep in mind that if you want "full" boost by 2000 rpm, the turbos will have to be very small. It also depends on what you define as "full boost". e.g. if you say 2 psi is full boost, sure, you might even be able to get a 3040 to be on "full boost" by 2000 rpm. Keep in mind that the capri 3L motors are shit. To further that, if you run twins, you'll only have 1.5L 3 cyl pushing each turbo. Keep this in mind. an rb20 has a tiny turbo. yet it won't even hit 10psi by 2000rpm. That is on a 6 cyl 2L. If you were to use 2 of those turbos, you'd probably expect 10psi by 4000+ rpm. keep in mind that it's not just the cost of turbos, as mentioned aboe, there are manifolds. piping, intercooler. ecu. injectors. fuel pump. fuel pressure regulator. the extra power will probably kill the stock gear box and diff. so budget for that. The budget is not 2-3000 for a twin turbo setup. Think more along the lines of $15000. I know you didn't ask for opinions, so I won't tell you that it's not worth it.
  12. There are many problems in this world. Tthe governments are f**ked. Look at pollution. Fossil fuels is one of the smallest problems in this world. There is poverty. Food is f**ked. Any seafood you eat is filled with heavy metals which bioaccumulate. humans keep rioting, and forming mobs. crime is a problem. There are problems everywhere. I know that people say that everyone should do their part. I am doing my part. The world is still f**ked. So I prefer not to think about small things like oil.
  13. put in a boost controller and run 25 psi. then upgrade the intercooler. then upgrade the exhaust.
  14. Gtr coolers are ridiculously overpriced for what they are imo. Just like every other gtr part. I mean, sure, it's proven that it's OK. BUT why buy a gtr cooler for 250-400$ which could be a 15 year old POS when you can buy a 2nd hand apexi cooler with the 90degree return bend for like $350 (I've got one).
  15. what globes are you using? are they those so called 'white globes'? I used to run the ricer globes, and they blew about once a month. buy a good set of hella/osram globes (not the rice blue/white ones) and they'll last.
  16. come on people. Surely someone will know?
  17. 70 years
  18. I highly doubt that you need an engineer's certificate for it. What about if you change to an aftermarket frontbar with a big opening?
  19. Maybe your car is bent from an accident. I find it very easy to do. just bolts and clips as said above.
  20. Straight into the intake. just down your intake snorkel or take out the filter and spray it in. hahaha
  21. It evaporates quickly. Taking it off and spraying it is best, but if you spray it while it's on the car, just let it sit for like 1/2 an hour.
  22. i'ts tint paint. sold at auto shops. Bogans often spray their commo tail lights black
  23. take it back
  24. Heard of this product called 'Start ya bastard' by nulon? it's good. maybe give it a few pumps when you're just about to mow a tough spot.
  25. Consider your wheel offset. Then use a measuring tape to see how much fully sik lower you want to go. (measure from guard to centre of wheel).
