  1. I have an r33 gtst equipped with A-LSD. This is the same diff as found on gtr vspecs. I find my diff to be pretty loose. I assume that it doesn't come on unless if I give it lots because the slip light on the dash doesn't come on. Does anyone know how to bleed the system? hopefully that'll help. What fluid do I use? what is the procedure etc? My previous jap owner seems to have filled it with atf, which is just sitting on top of the old black fluid in the cylinder.
  2. Yeah, agreed. I've heard of many 33s stolen this way. Disconnect it.
  3. time bomb. That is way too much oil. I just took the intake piping off my 97 model gtst. I would describe the oil as not being visible to the eye. It is only evident if I run my finger on it. My finger turns slightly brown. Your turbos and or engine are dieing.
  4. I don't know if this is the correct section, but as it is related to forced induction, and performance, and the common rb25 turbo housing change, i will place it here. Just wondering if it's possible to change a turbo exhaust housing with the turbo on the car? I.e. without removing oil and water lines.
  5. I was just wondering whether it was possible to change the exhaust houising of an rb25 turbo while it is still on the motor? It would be much easier, like no need to remove oil and water lines etc. Am I dreaming?
  6. SiksII you are a champ for organising such a good group buy
  7. paid 210 for cat only. descriptoin - MANWHOR3
  8. hahaha, Beeer Barron posted while I was posting. Yeah, if it comes off, then it is shock oil (the oil is black) or if the chrome looks like it's been sanded off, it's scored. besides, the stockos aren't worth anything anyways, so don't worry about it
  9. yes, the bit that moves in and out is called the shaft. It is normally chromed. If it's black, that means the shaft is scored. most likely caused by the shock having died and all the oil leaked out
  10. It's not too bad mate. Even i've done em. Yeah, you have to take the wheel off, otherwise it just makes it a pain. Make sure that you do the bolts up tight enough (mainly the bottom one). One of my friend's had the shock come off. Not much fun.
  11. I don't believe he was criticising the r32, he was saying that compared with cars of that time, that is, the vn, it looks a lot better. It is interesting to note, that the r32 does look like a vn on the inside though, even the same wiper and headlight controls.
  12. I'll take one of the kits. please pm me payment details and I shall pay and tell you postage address. cheers
  13. I'm in for a 3" bolt on, is payment on monday too late? that's when I get paid.
  14. you don't need a torque wrench. what you need is a breaker bar.
  15. Cubes, if you have a look inside a relay, it's a very simple device. It's unlikely that it will get stuck open. Relays do not need much power at all to trigger. Your ecu might still be supplying a small amount of power after priming is finished. My advice would be to change the relay anyway, in the rare case that it is faulty. They're cheap anyway.
  16. Roy, may I ask why you say assuming you don't have ABS for the rbf 600? I'm currently running it. Is it bad?
  17. How about the fact that cyl 6 is 30 psi down on the rest of them? No one has mentioned anything about that. Was it a faulty reading? Done a leakdown test? Before you start increasing power, you may want to get it looked at before it dies on you. Maybe time for a rebuild.
