  4. Suzkuki Cappuccino -- Located in Victoria -- -- $15500 - Excellent condition inside and out. - Highly Modified. - Long registration - Full Alarm System including imoboliser, Central Locking, REMOTE ENGINE START!! - Electric Windows, Mirrors - Air-Conditioning - Carbon Fibre Mirrors - More than $8000 spent for the last 12 months all with receipts to prove - Dyno Proven 80KW at wheels - 0-100km/h in 6.6 sec Performance ---------- - 10000 kms old rebuild engine - CRUX 2.00mm Head Gaskets (Compression Reduced to 7.8) - Bigger Turbo (Suzuki Sport, IHI RHB31FW) - Apex-i GT-Spec Front Mount Intercooler - 2.25" Stainless Steel Turbo-Back Exhaust - GTR 444cc Injectors - Custom Oil Catch Can - Pod Filter - Suzuki Sport N1 Computer - Turbo Smart Boost Controller - Turbo Timer - Clutch changed few months ago - Sports Brake Pads - Adjustable aluminium Front Strut Brace - Quest Polished Anti-Roll Bar This car has been well maintained and taken care. Serviced at every 5000kms (have receipts prove). All original parts including turbo, air-filer, intercooler, computer, etc. comes with the car. Although the price seemed expensive, as the average price goes around $12000, the modifications along is well over $10000. For example, engine rebuild cost me nearly $4000, the Suzuki Sport turbo kit (bigger turbo, injectors, computer) alone worth $3000, the Apexi Intercooler worth $2000. So it is a real bargain, I will also consider dropping the price with a few less mods. Very regratable Contact Kelvin: 0403383845 [email protected]
  5. true, but a front cut = 2nd hand, which means u don't really know how good the engine is. With a rebuild, you can 101% sure u got a BRAND NEW engine. bad thing is you can't really test before you buying an engine/gearbox other than visually inspect
  6. Well, the 100ks on a GTR are most likely driven 'hard'. Where the commos or falcons are usually 'normal' driven. But then again, the build quality in every aspects of the car is going to be WAY better than the aussies. Hmmmm... It really comes to LUCK when you're importing a car.
  7. Hi Guys, I'm very lucky that the money I saved up for the last 5 years now I can afford a 1989 R32 GTR. As you know under the 15 Yrs rule, the 1989 R32 GTRs are getting easier to import and register in Australia. And as a huge fan on the R32, I'm very keen to purchase one for around $20,000 to $25,000 registered and everything. I've read through the car buyer FAQ page avalible from this forum, and I would like to get more ideas more specifically on the R32 GTR. These are things I know or I've heard about the R32 GTRs: 1. They simply cost too much for a 1989 car. 2. Most of them would have had an accident. 3. Most of them would have been trashed. 4. Not the cheapest car to insure. 5. bla bla bla... It'll be very much appriciated to share your experience, advice and anything you have to say about the car. Cheers Everyone. Looking forward to be a skyline owner and part of this forum.
