Hi every one I am rebuilding my rb26dett and i would like a second opion on torque settings for my new bits. I am using spool conrod with arp2000 bolts,standard main bearing cradle and a 3 layer 87mm metal head gasget. i am using genuine nissan gasket kit except for head gasget. thanks stuart

thanks every one for the input,i have bought another r32 gtr crank that has been machined 10 thou off big ends and mains,i am taking to machine shop tomorrow to recheck and see if i can use. stuart

sorry about caps lock,nissan sell only 1 crank now and i am told it is the better unit.but a price of 1100.00 i was looking at another option.the second machine shop can regrind 20 thou and they asure me it will be fine and crack check the crank.

HI EVERY ONE MY R32 GTR SPAN A BIG END NUMBER 1 AND THE CRANK IS 7 THOU WARPED THE MACHINE SHOP CAN FIX.SHOULD I GET MINE FIXED AND USE IT? THANKS FOR THAT MATE I REMOVED THE FACTORY ECU 8 WEEKS AGO TO INSTALL APEXI POWER FC,THOUGHT IT COULD BE THAT SO CHECKED WITH MY OLD UNIT. THIS ISN'T THE PROBLEM

HI EVERY-ONE I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY GTR THE FUEL PUMP HAS STOPPED PUMPING.I HAVE CHECKED PUMP AND RELAY BOTH OK CHECKED WIRING ALSO OK. EACH TIME I TURN THE IGNITION ON THE PUMP ONLY GOES FOR 1 SECOND NOT 5 SECONDS LIKE IT SHOULD.THERE IS A PUMP MODUALWITH 8 CONNERCTER AND PINS 104 AND 106 OUT OF ECU ARE ONLY 1 VOLT SHOUD BE ABOUT 4 VOLT. HAS ENYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND ARE THEY ABLE TO TELL ME HOW TO FIX PLEASE? THANKS STUART

HI EVERY ONE IS IT NORMAL FOR THE FRONT AIR MASS METER TO READ ABOUT HALF THE VOLTAGE OF THE BACK AMM? I HAVE POWER FC WITH HKS AIR POD KITS.AT IDLE MY FRONT READS AROUND .75V AND MY BACK ONE READS 1.24V THE MORE I REV THE HIGHER THE VOLTS BUT THERE IS ALWAYS THE DIFFERENCE. IS IT POSSIBLE I HAVE A FAULTY AMM?COULD SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME?STUART

HI MAN THE ENGINE LIGHT IS TELLING YOU THAT YOU ARE EXCEDING 60 ON THE KNOCK,THIS COULD BE DUE TO ENGINE RESONNESS,HITTING REV LIMIT OR ALSO PINGING.MY GTR GOES TO 45 AT REV LIMIT AND IF I PUT IN MORE TIMING ADVANCE IT EASLY GOES OVER 60.GOOD LUCK FINDING PROBLEM AND PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT WAS CAUSING YOUR PROBLEM STUART

Hi every-one my questuon is i am about to fit my new adjustable cam gears and i have been told to retard the cam timing on the inlet side by 2 deg or 80 thou and advance the exhaust cam by 4 deg or 160 thou. can anyone tell me if this is correct or help me with the right settings please. stuart

Trying to fit a SAF-C to a 98' Stagea thisarvo. I printed out ECU pin outs off DIY. Can anybody name/ confirm wire colors for 'power, ground, afs, throttle sig. and rpm sig.' please, just to make sure. I have black and white for power, red and blue for th. sig., orange and blue for afs, white and blue for ground and blue and white for rpm sig.
