what that'd only be about...320rwkw? if there wasn't a gtst here was wasn't making that much i'd be shocked. looks pretty awsome too
-
as for the insurance matter, untill your 25 i'd only go with 3rd party, fire & theft. I have a mate who smashed up the front end of his fancy new 200sx. even after spending over $3000/year on insurance he's still not going to make a claim cause it'll end up costing him a bucket load in return. anyway just a thought.

whaaaa? the subject says xr6t, but your talk r31? never the less, that's nice power from so much stock gear
-
Such a sad loss, but i wonder what would have happened if they were doing the correct speed insted of 3 times that? i know it sounds a little heartless, but it's the minaroty that stuff everything for the majority, i wonder what new laws will be comming into place to stop young/all drivers having any kind of modifications or turbos for that matter.

if you hadn't said "posting for a mate" you would have gotten away with it....

damn this game sounds awsome, does anyone know if it's comming out on PC? I asked the guy at EB, he rattled off some neardy lingo to me something like "not sure when it's comming out (on PC) as Rockstar havent decided if there going to at all" I should think they will, as GTA 3 and Vice city were both on PC and were both huge hit's on this system. If not, well i will just have to save my pennys and go buy a new TV, PS2 and GTA SA

i know a guy that downloaded that sound converted it to mp3 and yep you guessed it burnt it to cd and use to play it in his in car cd player. funny thing was he drove a 1984 Ford Fairlane with an auto 3 speed.

one thing that may have something to do with it (but then again may not) is that in NFS underground the car there talking about is a R34 GTR V-spec. now i have no idea of the dates and what not, with the BNR32 the v-spec was still being produced the year after they stoped making the normal BNR32's, wasn't it? perhaps the v-spec was still being produced the year after they stoped making the BNR34. but i know nothing about production dates, most probably what's happened is what Rezz said, it's America (or is it cananda EA games?) so near enough is good enough.

your going over 180km/h without major mod's(stock ECU), hummm that would take some road, i wish i knew where the was a road like that around here, if you can drive for 100M without hitting a pot hole your doing well.

Good Advice? or just nagging idiots?
drakan69 replied to The Dan's topic in General Automotive Discussion
easy $16000 man, if you find the right buyer i'm sure...$18,000 wouldn't be outta the question. anyway other than that just sounds as if your surounded by negitative people, you need either a holiday or a trip/track day with some other turbo/skyline drivers. i was in kinda the same boat, not as bad as it sounds with you thou, i was one of the only people i knew with a 2L turbo imported car, then one of my mates baught a s15. After that, the gloomy people disapeared and now every weekend it's a cruse down to the beach or to other little towns in the surrounding area. In short my 2 cents would be: Get a turbo friend, get the cars out on the open road and road trip. -
you may have to expand on this a little more, like if you've payed the FOB price, prestige's service fee, anything else? providing you know the price you payed for the 32 gtr you should be able to give you an idea. say you payed about.....$10000 - $12000 (aud) for the GTR then $5800 for govn't tax and stampduity and otherstuff that i carn't remember now sounds about right. "FOB price + Import broker's service fee + 15% to this, add around $2,000 for shipping and customs and quaranteen clearance fees, then add 10% of this to the total." above was pretty much a cut and past of Garage Menace's origional post.

33 turbo and 33 gearbox
drakan69 replied to FLY-SKY's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
sorry to be doing a little bitta chatting here, but no-one else has addressed this question, i was under the impression that all the R33's had the steel compressor wheel, it was only the 34's with the plastic one. 32's had ceramic (however that's spelt). But i could be wrong. -
don't you trust kaos's dyno? i think a tune would be better than no tune, cause other than them (i'm guessing your in rocky/yepoon) townsville is about the next closest.

not to be mean or anything, but there is this thing called the internet. Now with this internet you can check out all kinds of information, alot of the stuff you want to know can be found on this internet, and all of it could probably be found on skylines australia. However to make things easier, cause you don't seem to wanna search for it yourself, there is this place on the internet called google, now it's kinda like a big ol search tower, cept it can find anything anywhere on the internet. So just type all them things you wanted to know into google, maybe even with a 'what is...' infrount and all shal be reveiled. voodoo stuff if you ask me

yeah like Craved said, that lill gizmo keeps an eye on the exhaust temp if it get's too hot the head of your motor is dieing/dead ( i think ) and your ECU has a fit and shuts you car down (once again i think, as this has never happened to me, so carn't be too sure) if you leave it off, i don't think your ECU will be too happy about that either & will probably do something nasty (like shut the car down) after a few minutes

drakan69 replied to ocean's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
getting back to the time you have, ya i too have heard 100 days but i'm not sure as to weather it was counted from clearing customs or what.... awsome buy, by the way that GTR looks mean! -
i got a lotta respect for porsche, i think they have done a good job of producing quality car's for ages and havent gone too crazy with there new designes. but just about anything that someone has taken a lot of care of is worth a good look.
