I feel this is very much a chalk vs cheese question. the cars involved crossover what i would regard as a pretty important few years in Auto development. Tbh I think it comes down to......how long do you plan on keeping it?? until it dies........ go the 34 for a bit and then move on ......R35 ...I struggle to see how anyone can compare a camaro to an R35.......that really blows my mind ..... go by a VF GTS if you want a Camaro........ essentially the same chassis as I understand it . Its the import costs that put it in the same bracket. .... the vette on the other hand... to me the R34 is a very good balance of driving feel with just the right amount of electronics R35 feels like it can turn anyone into a track superstar (maybe not the case but its how it feels to me ) especially if its just a weekender...... buy a R34 and sink the 30-40k price difference into it. Personally out of my weekender I want an animal.....not comfortable.... ESPECIALLY if its your dream car ( or has been for a period of time.

plugs. oil, filter, never been an issue 5 Litre in 5 out . cept now there's a drip or two on the driveway so just trying to monitor it. and make sure its definatly engine oil which i believe it is

cheers for the constructive stuff............ as for servicing the car...... it gets done by me every 5 thousand I just rebuilt a gearbox........ forgive me for not measuring up to your high rb25 standards

let me just start by saying this seriously embarassing but to avoid it further I'm biting the bullet. Where in gods name is the dipstick located on and Rb26?

one of my best mates had a 351 built buy him, we went down to talk to him a few times. good dude , very professional and very open to discussion and requests, he also built my forged boss 5.4 very knowledgeable guy. Im looking at getting my rb rebuilt by him on my return to Adelaide

Hey hey.... R33 GTR floating around town too

So I've had my GTR for about a year now and I've slowly taken parts off had a look and put some things right and restored it. But being a 20 year old car I've found a few missing items and broke a couple too. So where do you guys find the tiniest parts? at the moment I'm chasing : screws for the rear wing end plates Cap screws for the Coil pack cover and new coil pack harness bolts. any ideas.

nah mate all target jsut me getting pulled over. I reckon on was a tip off casue he pulled me and breathoed me 3 times and drug tested me twice. did my breatho training not that long ago and really one is enough. i think they thought i was someone else. other 2 were license checks and one was a defect, breatho and license. actually stood at the front of the car for 30 mins talking to the cop. He was a top bloke. just remember guys. cops are taught to apply discretion and the "attitude test" so don't get snarky until you're sure of the outcome.

So been pulled over by cops four times In 24 hours ... all nice as just doung there jobs .. not what everyone claims is true about them

painting my coil pack over the past two days.... its come up really average and ill need to repaint it... but its been a serious learning experience. Patience is a virtue i sadly dont have. and on a sad note i lost the rubber edging which ill glue back on very very slowly i think. ill end up goinn carbon eventually i think
