  1. Send me private message and let's see what we can do. Where are you from? I think we have little language barrier here, what do you mean by globe holes?
  2. Yes, the screen won't come up without help. I suppose it could be solved with shaving some plastic off, but I don't think it is big enough problem that I would bother to take it out. I never put the screen down anyway. Buttons are shame indeed but there just is no way the originals could have been used.
  3. Took a quite long time to get this done, but attached is the result using eBay center console linked earlier in this topic. Fit & finish is ok, not perfect but definitely ok. Aircon buttons look cheap but work with no problems. They look better in dark, backlight color is exact match with the originals. Pop-up screen is REALLY tight fit, it needs some help to get it up. Not cheap, not easy to install and not perfect fit but as there are no options available this what we have to put up with. Does everything promised, so problem there.
  4. I need them too. All info is appreciated.
  5. There really is no easy way as such. I opened the original headlight, cut a bigger hole to reflector and installed Hella Bi-Halogen projector to the remains of reflector and painted it black. There is enough space in back of original headlight unit that height level adjustment (which is mandatory here in Finland) still works with no issues. I'm quite happy with the result!
  6. Sure thing! CD changer FO'd on me yesterday so I'll be doing this immediately when the new fascia arrives. Decided to go with 1-din head unit, let's see how it turns out.
  7. Averaged my first 1000 km's with AR-X at 10.5 l / 100 km. Was expecting something near 12, so I'm very pleased. Seems to be more economical than twin turbo Legnum or Legacy. This was on 98 octane, maybe I should try 100 octane V-Power.
  8. Thanks for the tip, didn't realize they were so identical. If anyone else is wondering where to get new fascia, this is what I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/130964418196?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 Aircon buttons look kinda cheap, but i hope i can use originals.
  9. Just got my 2002 AR-X and found out that the stock integrated head unit is nearing the end of it's life. I thought I'd go with iPod extension but there seems to be problem with the amplifier (or something) since it's making noises that makes your ears bleed even when it's turned off. This being first M35 in the country, there's not much help available here in Finland. It seems that there are few different stereo / climate control options with all different fascias. Attached is picture of my head unit / climate control. Is there any reasonably easy and straightforward way to replace the original with aftermarket double din unit? Will climate controls and trip computer etc. in the screen work if the head unit is replaced? Any help is greatly appreciated!
  10. Really nice looking car! As I've just purchased my first Stagea (2002 AR-X), I'm looking for ideas how to enhance the looks of it. First M35 Stagea here in Finland so not much to compare with Spec Dock seems to be great way to connect iPhone to original stereo. There's 3 models available but I'm not sure which would be the best. I believe Infiniti G35 is the car model of choice but after that it gets confuses as there are some mixed information. Which of the three you used? I don't need video from iPhone but would like to control everything from steering wheels controls. Also, what spec are your wheels? I have spare set of XXR 527's in 18 x 8.75 ET35 waiting and I'd guess they should be quite spot on.
