  6. should, ya never know tho i might just be lucky my mate was smashing limiter with his rb30e and snapped a timing belt and it didn't damage it internally

  8. yes it whirred nicely and it didnt twang when flicked when we did it
  9. was doin 110 in 5th belt was replaced, tensioner and idler were replaced i tensioned the belt to where the tensioner snapped over into place, like they are meant to
  10. i do know you don't put the belt on when the tensioner is tensioned..... motor had 97,000k's work was done by myself the belt felt fine when it was tensioned... made a nice houl sometimes, but i was told that gates belts make a little bit of noise for a few thousand k's when they are new
  11. was done the same way i've done every other timing belt and i've never had any problems, i dont force them on with huge levers and shit

  13. excessive force how? slipping the belt on the gears wasn't too hard, believe me there was nothing excessive about the force being used timing belt, was done literally less than 200k's ago cars been on the road like 200k's
  14. how the f**k does that happen? really, 110 in 5th in a r31 with a 3.9 ratio diff (speedo said about 80-90)

  18. last time i checked the oil pressure gauge was on a separate loom for an Aus build r31............ but then again i haven't gotten a definitive answer to my question, whether its normal or not

  21. hey guys i just put a 25det in my 31, and i put a new oil filter on and did an oil change (i put 5L of new oil back into it) i ran the engine, and whatever and the only gauge i have is the temp gauge i turned the car off, and pulled the dipstick out and i noticed there was no oil on the dipstick, and it made a weird hissing noise kinda from where i pulled it out and there was no oil on the dipstick... i let it sit for 10 mins and then i checked it, and the oil was on H on the dipstick... is this normal? or should i add more oil?

  23. i need one for my r31 passage project need either a yoke with the uni so i can get a tail-shaft made, or the complete tail-shaft pm or reply here with a price, i dont want to spend alot
