Check the spark plugs first. You should usually do that before checking any other things like coils or injectors. Do you know when was the last time they were checked/changed? Sorry to hijack but, where can you get the compression test done? How long does it take and aprox. how much does it cost? I just wanna satisfy my curiosity and get mine tested. Thanx.

If you read the RTA demirit handbook you'll notice that if you have a drink while driving you're up for loosing 3 demirit points. This came in power at the same time as the mobile fone one but its not being pushed as much. Not many ppl knew about this one including my friend who's a cop. I got defected for having blue ones. But again, they defected me for not having H patern on the gear knob, a loose stereo wire in the boot and not fully secure spare wheel amongst other things.

I had a look into nissan FAST software and noticed that R33's have 6 different part numbers for the turbo which would mean R33's came out with 6 different turbos. The manual R33's have two different part numbers for the turbo and the auto R33's have 4 different part numbers for the turbo.

Well from what i can see on the box it says 52 - 60. But if the 60 fits perfectly, hows the 52 gonna fit? Would this fit the R32 pillar?

4bella - i got the same problem, well mine is a bit worse. sometimes the rear end starts turning as i'm going straigh so it feels like drifting and then the light comes on and it becomes normal. this is only sometimes. so now i'm driving with the unplugged comp and no problems. )) i've been looking at it for a while now and no success as yet to fix it. thanx again for the help today.

Does anyone have their intercooler piping wraped up for heat isolation? I wonder if it would be really beneficial considering the amount of air that goes thru. Would the air really manage to heat up? I mean we are talking about 100's of liters of air in seconds rushing thru a pipe. Any ideas? Also, does anyone know where good isolation tape can be bought from. I found this on eBay. SK - does Stagea have a single unit for Auto ECU or is it like the R32 & R33 Skyline where there's a main unit and a secondary auto controller? Why i'm asking is i'm wondering if the R32 auto ECU would have extra code compared to the manual ECU considering there's a separate gearbox controller. Thanx

Is there any real difference beween the Manual and Auto ECU's considering that auto skylines have an additional ECU in the drivers footwell that communicates with the main ECU. I would think that they would be the same units. Can anyone confirm this, perhaps ppl with FAST software?
