  1. I'm not sure if they are Bosch. These are the stock fog/driving ligts.
  2. My front bar is 8cm of the ground so even getting into the petrol stations and out is a bit of chalenge. Driveways are out of question.
  3. Would the R32 RB20 det head fit without mods on the R32 RB25 de bottom end?
  4. I have my HICAS computer unpluged to fix my HICAS problem. The steering is a bit heavier but the car feels OK. I don't feel the wheels floating around. But I am about to rip my HICAS out as soon as I get all the info on what needs to be done.
  5. I have an 89 model R32. Does this mean the price of my car will go up compared to a 90 model coz P platers will be able to drive it. Also, I just noticed, R34 four door in not listed nor are Toyota Chasers and Mitsubishi Legnum's. Mmmmm.
  6. Sorry to hear that. Mine still feels nice and strong - 155 000 km's.
  7. Where abouts in Syd are you? Also, can you measure the hight of the bar? Probably the easiest from the corner where indicator and the headligh joins.
  8. Hi Stuart, I'd rather not. Got "burnt" once and I had to pay the postage cost to send it and return it. Let me know if you're still interested. Ned
  9. Bumpy and here is the pic of it,
  10. Does R32 GTST come with "HICAS" or "Super-HICAS"???
  11. Yeah, it's the dark grey 4 door without the front bar It was my first time so I didn't know what to expect. First run was 14.3 and stalled up to 1000. Second and third I just wasn't ready when it turned green so ran simillar times. On the fourth run I stalled it around 2000 RPM and got 14.02. 60' is still something I need to work on and if I improve it I should be able to get into 13s with this setup. I had it in D for all the runs with the Power mode on and O/D off. There was some wheelspin but not too much. Unknown suspension. Possible stock (looks very high) benm - I see you have about the same time as me but with a way better 60'. What car are you driving and how much power does it make?
  12. Does R32 GTST come with "HICAS" or "Super-HICAS"? skylinegeoff - are the HICAS bars you have for R32 and R33 identical?
  13. Let me know how you go. I've got a GFB @ 14 psi and it's holding great till redline. I do however get a 1 psi spike. I'd be very interested to know if this one brings boost quicker.
  14. Mine was done in third. O/D off and accelarate till it hits the 3rd and off we go. If it drops back, start again BTW. I took my car to Eastern Creek last nite and ran 14.02 @ 102.26. 60' - 2.408. R32 Auto sedan
  15. Please report back on the pedal feel, bite and the dust factor between the two.
  16. The service place did it. At the same I had the brake system flushed and refiled with some Motul stuff. I belive it was 5.1. I bedded them in as per instrucrions. Initially there was no noise, but now after 8 months and about 10000 kms they are very noisey. There is still about 3-4mm left on them.
  17. How much for S15's? What tires are on them?
  18. I got Lucas on the rears and RB74's on the front. I find them to be quite good but a little bit dusty. The RB74's are driving me crazy. They are sooooo noisy. everytime I hit the brake I get this brain peircing pain. Also, they are quite a bit dusty. The setup was recommended by RaceBrakers and I was told Lucas are good but wont bite as hard as the RB74.
  19. Would you have the blow by hoses in good cond.
  20. With my R32 I get about 300 km per fuel tank - 55L. Rarely I would get over 300 km. It seams like it doesn't really matter much if I gun it quite a bit or not, it's always within 20kms. I'm still using stock computer and stock injectors. A/F ratio is on the ritcher side, low 11s. Even the boost I run doesn't play major role when it comes to the fuel consumption. Is it the O2 sensor or something else?
  21. In R32 gtst, if you disconnect the plug from the HICAS controller in the back the steering goes heavy as well. I had to disconnect mine as when HICAS kicks in at around 70 km/h my rear comes out and it creeps along. I have to turn the steering wheel to 2 o'clock to keep the car going straight. So will this bar fit the R32 gtst? Is there any way to have the lock bar and not get the heavy steering? There must be some sort of controller to replace the HICAS one?
  22. I wasn't happy with my setup until I got it tuned. The mods are: pod filter, full 3 " exhaust, R33 turbo and intercooler. 144 rwkw on stock boost. The car has done 155K kms and it's Auto. I don't belive the auto box loses much power compared to manual. Currently I'm running 14 psi and 167.8. Don't forget, Dyno is only a tuning tool. In a week or 2 I will take my car to Croydon for a retune and to confirm the power it's making.
  23. To be precise, it was 167.8 rwkw. I don't have the dyno sheet scanned yet, but I'll post it up as soon as I do. The shift kit only affects the gear changes. I had 137 rwkw, before the shift kit and intercooler, but it was running very lean. Once I changed the pump the A/F ratios went to 11.5 and 130 rwkw. 144rwkw was the figure after the intercooler. All the above figures are on stock boost. Who chipped your Auto ECU? What was done on it? Fuel, ignition? That is my next mod but I'm unsure if it will affect gear changes!
