    I get the idea. It's more than obvious it's worth paying a bit extra to get the superior head and with a bit of patience you can always find a good deal. Thanx SK. That was a very helpful answer like usual.

    For a reliable street setup: For the argument sake, if you could get a RB26 head at the same price as the R32 RB25de head which one would you use and why? What compression ratio would you aim for and (if not stock) what pistons and head gasket would you use to achive that? What would be a reasonable power target?

    Edit: I guess thes got answered - How hard is to mate the GTR head to the RB30 block? Also, what compression would you get with the RB26 head and RB30 block combo?

    At the moment I'm using one of the vacum lines of the plenum. Are there any problems with that?

    With a setup up like that I dont think the catch can would be catching a lot as the blow by gasses will be escaping through the shortest route. So in this case with hoses connected on top of the can the gasses will never see the bottom as they will escape throgh the filter of the can so it doesn't matter if the can is baffled or not. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

    I got an early model too and had to change the water lines as the rb25 turbo needed larger bolts. U migh wanna change the compressor elbow pipe as well as the r32 one is slightly smaller. The rest of you guys that have done this conversion, where did you connect the hose coming of the actuator? The R32 tubo has a nipple on it for the hose and the R33 doesn't.

    From the pic I don't see the way you could empty them out apart from turning them upside down.

    So is it possible to remap the ECU and retain the shift logic or it would be lost? If it would be lost I guess the only other option would be some type of a pigyback computer. I'm trying to figure out my next step n this ECU thing has got me scratchin my head. Any advice?

    HR31COUPE - thanx for the info, i'll speak to Mike to see how it all works but this could be great little device for ppl wanting to go ahead with aftermarket computers and keep shift quality with Auto gearboxes.
