  1. How big is the opening where the filter is? Does it have a thread? What can you use to close it off? Also, the 2 inlet/outlets, do they finish with the wall of the can or they lead a bit inside? Sorry about all the questions but I got a dodgy one recently.
  2. I've dealt with Mike at MV Automatics already for my Stage 2 shift kit but i was unaware they had a shift controller. Do you know what’s included in the controller and how it works. Also, what is the cost? R32's come with a separate ECU for controlling the gearbox but I’m not sure how much of a role plays the Main Engine ECU when it comes to shift control apart from communicating to the Auto ECU the REV's, speed and throttle position.
  3. SK - where is the Shift Logic kept on Nissan Automatics? Is it on the Main ECU or the second Auto ECU? I wonder if you were to swap the Main ECU's from an Manual into an Auto from a same model car if it would work? If the Shift Logic is kept on the Auto ECU i see no reason why it wouldn't work. If that is the case then the guys doing remaps dont have to worry if the ECU they're working on is from an Auto or a Manual car. Right?
  4. Yeah the cooler is there. So back on the question - Remap or Piggy Back - what would be better?
  5. Can the filter be taken off for the plub back setup?
  6. Is he able to remap the stock ECU's. I got an R32 Auto with a few mods. If so' I'm in.
  7. My car is an R32 Automatic so an Aftermarket Computer is not an option. So I'm trying to decide what is better, re-mapping the standard ECU or getting a piggy-back like Unichip. My performance mods are: Full 3" exhaust, POD, FMIC, RB25 turbo, upgraded fuel pump and shift kit. Soon I'll be getting an EBC and run up to 1 bar max. I've checked the compression and it's all OK. and the current A/F ratio is around 11. Any help will be apreciated. Thanx
  8. HICAS Computer and the steering wheel sensor. PM me the price. Thanx.
  9. I think it's 3.8 liters in one canister or there abouts. No worries let me know once you decide.
  10. I ended up using 7.5 - 8 liters of HiTemp. Adam - I have a full unopened canister left over so if you decide to go with HiTemp you can do me a favour and get it of me. Let me know.
  11. Ben, where abouts are you? Is pickup available? Is the chip working 100%? Whats the rason for sale?
  12. Why I think there could be a difference in power is, it feels like there is more torque now and there's possibly less power loss through the gearbox. It could be one of those placebo effects but i'm happy. But again some other facts in my case: my gearbox has done more than 150 000 and it has just been refreshed with some RedLine stuff. So the new valve body and the fancy fluid has definitively made my car feel different.
  13. I'm still looking for a way to remove the reverse beep but don't wanna cut the wrong thing.
  14. It would be great if somebody did before and after dyno runs with no other changes. I think we would see some interesting results. My seat of the pants tool can feel quite a bit of difference.
  15. OK, the Valve Body is in and I'm very impressed. The gear changes are much quicker. It takes aprox. three times less to change gears than before. The ride quality hasn't changed much. The only difference is from first to second, it's not as smooth as before, even with light throtle, but with full throtle it chirps easy. I'm very happy with the result and I highly recommended.
  16. HEHE, that looks crazy. If you find the kit let me know. I'd be interested as well.
  17. Is this a Projector or Non- projector headlight?
  18. I'm getting done my today. I'm putting some RedLine HiTemp fluid as well. i will report tomorrow if everything works out.
  19. U should have came past on Tuesday to have a look at them. PM me once you decide.
  20. Yes, you can just untwist the globe out.
  21. How much is the aftermarket sunroof? I don't see why they can't make it close automaticaly. It's not much diferent from windows.
  22. Yeah but "XENON" fluid is better.
  23. I got a few bottles lying around but are you sure u want to put "XENON" in blinkers. :bonk: Blue blinkers could lead to a defect. I also have some caned air you might be interested in. It’s mountain fresh and you can use it in your air con. :devil1:
  24. BOOMAU : I've got an Auto but i've never been drifting in it. I'd say it would be hard coz you don't have the full control of what gear your in. When drifting the right gear selection means a lot when it comes to a good drift or off the track. I know you could manualy select the lower gears but if you're in the drift in a higher gear you almost have no control over it kicking into the lower gear. Once again, i'm not talking out of experience.
  25. Thanx for your help guys. I think i'll just take it to the Peders 28 point obligation free inspection to see if they can pin point the problem and I'll take it from there. If it's a bent steering arm, can they fix it or it has to replaced? Cost? I've learnet my lesson but I wont be taking any money from her. It wouldn't be nice but she is much nicer when she's feeling guilty.
