EvilINGT replied to Hawker180's topic in PC & Games Discussion
A user was selling it on here for $85 i think. I had this on dreamcast a while back and i have to say it looks very very similar, any one for jaggies. Probably wont stop me buying it though. Theres a review on teamxbox.com cheers Evil -

Yeah this guy up here has the factory BOV and a Blitz bov at the same time, and stalls all the time and runs heaps rich, nice pops on gear changes . He just wont believe me when i tell him get rid of the atmo bov. But the best part is, he reckons it gives him like 15rwkw having 2 bovs hahaha. BTW sorry for the hijack peace Evil

Looking for 18x8/8.5 + 18x9/9.5 staggered set to suit R33 SII Sedan. Where/Who is KYP? cheers Evil

Cool, pimpin rims anyways. After a set myself, if only i had a spare $3700 for rims alone. Suspension and brakes first methinks. Evil

Ive got the exact same system as above in all stainless, except had to put in a 10cm section between cat and catback, as ive got a sedan. Yeah the x-force is loud, but you can control the sound with your right foot. cheers Evil

Brake Caliper Clearance With Rims...
EvilINGT replied to kursed's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I had to grind off the nissan, and about 1mm of the lowest part of the caliper to get mine on . Got a new set of calipers, and just saving up for Volks then bye bye to my "McGyverised" calipers. Next time i will get spacers doh!! cheers Evil -
Kick ass while while getting the chicks, hehe go the 18s, 350HP for me, abouts where im heading anyway. Forget the leather though. Im talking Volk CE28Ns, and a well sorted chasis/driveline/suspension. An all rounder with comfort. With 350HP itd be reliable and quick, plus style for cruizin. peace Evil

Ive done it with no adverse effects that i can tell, apart from it looking crap. But there is barely 1mm of clearance between the rims and brakes at the moment. Just means i dont use the brakes as much , which makes for less thermal expansion. I would say dont do it if you can avoid it, im assuming its to fit some rims in the wrong offset. Ive actually bought another set of front calipers and im waiting for some nice rims, so i can put "untampered" calipers back on. i reckon the cops probably wouldnt like it either. cheers Evil

The 5.1L from the mechanic, he was basing that off a nissan patrol, wtf? Anyway, ive had the gearbox oil replaced with Redline Lightweight shockproof, i got about 100ml back, and the diff oil replaced with the Redline MT90 gear oil, used 1 and 4/5ths of the 2 bottles i had. As for downloading the manual, i did have a copy somewhere but its lost. And its for future reference, for all the noobs, and its easily available on the net for ANYONE to view, so presumably i could say to my mechanic, go check out SAU forums and look in such and such a section and find the info there. Just an idea. cheers Evil

Hi Guys I notice there arent any stickies in here really, i think it would be a good idea if one of the topics on gear oil which one/how much, diff oil which one/how much, clutches used and impressions, diffs used and impressions was available. Now i know some people like the search function, but it would be some much easier for noobs to find info quick and give a good reference point to those who have been around awhile. Point in case the sticky regarding wheel offsets and diameters, thats a great one. For example i wish the gearbox and diff "stickies" would list exactly how much fluid each one required, i have searched and so far i have between 3.5L - 4.1L from here, and now my mechanic at a nissan dealership says that the box takes 5.1L, now i only have 3.8L of Redline Shockproof, which pisses me off no end, as i dont know which one to believe, i think hes wrong though after everything ive read here, even though its very vague. Cant someone check a workshop manual? Get fluid levels for gearbox, diff, power steering, brake fluid. cheers Evil

Flyn.com.au 3" Dump/front Pipe
EvilINGT replied to nizmo_freek's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Another vote for the bosimporting/batmbl split dump. You have to hear one of these with no cat/catback on, sweet sweet RB. Evil -
Another vote for the pipercross. Got one for $60-$70 from revolution racegear i believe. Much better than the HKS panel filter it replaced. Came with a oil/spray for the filter, only use it on the top of the filter, yet i can see where the oil has gotten into the inside of the filter box. Also i bought it after reading SKs explanation why. cheers Evil

Tokyo Extreme racer on Dreamcast was pretty good for that sort of thing good range of cars, and there was one on PS that was done by Capcom that actually had HKS and other brands kits and stuff but it was cell shaded/cartoon like. I think that the Tokyo Extreme series is coming to X360 not sure if there will be an english release though. My friend had S13 with the same body kit you could get in TER. cheers Evil

Got Me Some Rice But Don't Know How To Cook!

Another vote for ciggy lighter, thats where my stereo's dimmer/illumination is and my dodgy DEFI rip off boost guage is hooked up to . Except i removed the ciggy lighter and replaced it with my boost guage, so very easy to connect up. Either splice into the ciggy wires or use spade connectors on your guages and replace the ciggy connectors if you dont use it much. Positive, ground and illumination to come on with your lights, and do as xRHETTx says, but make sure you have a small diameter T piece as the tubing is very thin. BTW a multimeter/cable ties/electrical tape is your friend here cheers Evil -
Value of my R33 GTSt 4 door?
EvilINGT replied to Burns's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
check these guys out http://www.autoworx.com.au/stock.htm#_NISSAN_R33_SKYLINE as a dealership, they are pretty cheap, its where i bought my car. Might give you an idea Also have a look at http://www.autowholesale.com.au for R34 and V35 cheers Evil -
Most definately on the expensive side but it allows me to move the xbox anywhere in the house and not worry about cables. Not worth $180, but a decent pci wireless card is around the $120-150 mark anyway. cheers Evil
