Ive been trying to solve my fuel problem in my R33. At the moment I got 125km off 23 litres, this is after a mechanic told me to take it back to the shop where I bought it from and have them replace the neck and fuel cap, which wasn't done apparently to comply with Aust standards. Done that. He did stick a thingo in the exhaust and he said that it's running better then perfect. He reckons that fuel would be evaporating. So what next, no improvement? I reset my cpu last night. If it is running rich due to some reason (sensor ect) it would have to come out of the exhaust?Yes. If the mix is perfect then it must be leaking or evaporating somewhere. What to do next?

I have been trying to get my black R33 to look real schmick. I gave it a polish last week and It looks sh!t in the sun. Does anybody have some suggestions on keeping Dark cars in mint condition. I'm scared of hitting it with a buffer and having worse marks.

I am having a similiar problem with my fuel usage. I have only had my R33 for three weeks. I will try putting injector flush in tank then see, but at the moment i am getting 75 km out off 20 lt. I spoke to a couple of people and they think it might be the coolant sensor. This will have the result of causing the motor not to know the temp of the coolant and run at what it would if the engine was cold. I will see, I have just filled my tank up.

Hi all, I have just bought an R33 last week. I have been a bit concerned about the fuel consumption. At last estimate I filled about 21 litres and got barely 100km. Going by all your posts this sounds insane. Is there a reason why It maybe drinking so much? I'd appreciate some feedback. My email is [email protected]
