My advice for you fellas that are buying cutout switches,is to buy the ones that have the auxilary contact block, so when you operate the battery isolator you also cut the ignition as well as ground the ignition circuit through a resistor, which will minimise the risk of a voltage spike causing any damage.

I believe they would be the same as a R32 GTS-t not sure about a 33 though, welcome to have a look if want.

Yes racing it in Targa class, The only work I had done was to get the rear rail stretched by the panel shop, I had a go at the bodywork/paint (looks good at a distance) engine build / rear end etc. Total cost so far is about $15k. Because of the wider track the wheels I found to fit I believe were to suit AU falcon.

Roy, Yellow R31 has a rb30/25, r33 gearbox with r33 gtr rear subframe/suspension. S14 front suspension with Harrop front brakes and standard rear calipers. Have only done three race meetings so far, have a list of things to do improve/change things. The car you may of seen on the 31 forums is not this car, but one that looks very similar. Both cars were built about the same time. Mine is in Tas the other I believe is in Vic. The spoiler came on the damaged car that I bought, so sorry cant help with sourcing another one.

You will need an approved harness, window net, extinguisher, battery isolator with remote pull wire so it can be operated from outside the car, race suit, plus your car will need to log booked with cams, plus a few other things CAMS website has a detailed list of requirements for circuit racing. For a good look in you could have a go at regularity, usually run by the MGCC at Symmons and the requirements are only same as running a club day I believe.
