  2. Yes im sure it will. Im not sure if you need a crank collar to prevent premature failure of the oil pump drive gear that is common in R32 gtrs though. Id ask someone in the know before purchasing though. The pump has seen very little use. Shaun.

  7. GDay, I bought two R32 GTR wheels a few weeks ago, and due to an engine rebuild i need to sell them. I bought the set for $600 and sold two. Now i need to sell the other two.   8. GDay, Unfortunately i need to sell my Whiteline suspension package in order to pay for an engine rebuild. I bought this stuff off Sydneykids group buy about 6 months ago, and due to endless problems with my car rebuild, i must now sell it. As i understand, this package is extremely good, and particulars and testimonials can be found on the group buy forum under the R32 thread. This kit has never been used; in fact i havent even opened the boxes. It contains: - Front and rear Bilstien shocks that have been revalved with sydneykids settings for road use. - Front and rear stabiliser bars (BNF28 front, BNF26 rear) - Front and rear bump stops (W0921) I didnt buy springs with this kit, as i already have Whiteline items over my standard shocks. I paid an excellent price of $1531.40 for the above items and, as i understand, this group buy has long finnished. Im asking $1500 + postage firm for this kit. I dont think thats unreasonable due to the fact that its brand new etc. At this stage i dont want to seperate the items unless i have firm buyers for all items. The price breakdown is as follows: - Front shocks = $561 - Rear shocks = $561 - Front stabiliser bar = $194 - Rear stabiliser bar = $194 - Bump stops = $102 Total = $1612 but i got a 5% discount for an order over $1000, which brings it back to $1531.40 Thanks, Shaun 0414972596

  11. GDay, After a several year rebuild, i finally trailered my car to the tuners for tuning. During this process, however, the guys discovered that No. 6 plug was fouling due to small amounts of water in the cylindar. They believed that the head was cracked due to the fact that the cooling system was not being pressurised, and the lack of water in the oil. I trailered it home and pulled the engine out (again), head came off, and i discovered that the head gasket had blown between no. 6 bore and the water jacket. I was very happy that the castings were all as new. I am concerned, however, as to why the gasket failed. The gasket was a Tomie item and i used ARP 10mm head studs torqued up to specs. On the dyno, the car was seeing 1.2 Bar at 3000rpm with 0.82 GT35r turbine housing, and controlling boost was extremely difficult. Its apparent that this housing was too small, so ive got a 1.06 in its place. Anyway, sorry for the rant, but i was wondering what brand of head gasket the guys in the know use. The Tomie one that failed only had about 2-3mm of sealing between the sealing ring and the water jacket. Ive heard of an Australian mob that makes good head gaskets. Im not necessarily looking for brand name jap sh1t, just something that works. Thanks for any assistance, Shaun. PS. Ill post up some pics later for those that may be interested.

  14. GDay, This may be a stupid question, but can you buy a replacement cam belt tensioner stud from Nissan? I rang them today and they said 'dont be stupid' but i think the bloke i was talking to was a tosser. Or should i just be looking at getting a high tensile stud from a bolt place. Im not sure if this will work though, as i havent taken it off yet. Thanks for any info, Shaun.

  18. GDay, A while ago i bought some comprehensive workshop manuals off a guy on these forums (cant remember who), but unfortunately ive lost them.   20. GDay, Ive got a GT3540 with a 0.82 rear housing, but i need to swap it for the larger 1.06 turbine housing. Anyone out there whos got the 1.06 and wants to swap it for the 0.82?? My housing is almost brand new (it hasnt even seen boost yet, as the car is untuned), and its been ceramic coated in the Extreme Black Coat by HPC in Melbourne at a cost of $200. Let me know if you need such a housing or have a 1.06 that you want to get rid of. If i sell it, i'd want at least $450 for it, as theyre $650 new and uncoated. Thanks, Shaun 0414972596
  21. I just modified (extensively) the existing Falcon shroud, and made it fit to the contours of the chassis. I then put car door rubber on the edges of the plastic shroud so that no air could escape between the fans and the radiator. Its not an easy job, but the benefits are great. Also, Original Equipment (OE) manufacturers will always make better cooling systems than aftermarket. Take note of the rake on the Davies Graig fan blades compared to the Falcon (or any other) fans. The Davies are inferior in my opinion. And its no good just bolting on a thermo with heaps of exposed radiator left around it. Shaun.
