I had it low mount on an RB20 manifold. I just had to make up a spacer plate and weld it on the standard manifold because the comp cover was too big. This turbo is brand new! It would suit a new turbo buyer; no play at all, i havent even cleaned it, as it is in the pics is how it came off the car. With the 0.86 rear, i think its rated at 600hp. The 1.02 rear is rated at 700hp. Man, this turbo is about 8 months old; i seriously doubt its an older style wheel. Its an off the shelf Garrett that has not been modified in any way, **** that T04 shit. Its a Ball Bearing GT series Garrett Turbo. Ill post anywhere at the buyers expense. GDay, Im in the process of putting an RB26 in my R32 gtst. Its a full rebuild engine with all the forged stuff and a single 700hp garrett high mount turbo. The guy who has done the engine work, and who will be modifying the exhaust, has recommended a new 3.5inch exhaust. I currently have a stainless 3inch turbo back system which cost around $2000. I dont want to upgrade if its unneccessary. My question is: Will a 3inch exhaust be sufficient for around 350rwkw maximum? If not, is four inch better? I have been told (and read) that anything greater that 3inch is overkill. Is this correct for my application? Any advice from people with first hand knowledge in this area would be appreciated. Yeah, its already been tuned for an RB20. The tuning was done by John at RX Engineering; he's the Microtech guru. If its going on an RB20, it should only require minor adjustments. Shaun.
