GDay, I just received some Greddy oil pressure and temperature (warning) gauges from Greenline, and all the instructions are in Japanese (funnily enough). I was wondering if anyone has some english instructions for them. They come with all these harnesses and an electronic box thingy and i need instructions. Surely some one out there has run into this problem before. Thanks, Shaun.

Where are you gonna get a custom exhaust manifold for $650! Im doing a single conversion at the moment and ive discovered that around $1200 is the lowest custom price there is. Seriously, if you know of someone doing them cheaper can you let me know? I understand what everyone is saying about twins probably being more responsive, but i decided to go the single for the following reasons: - Simplicity. When i pulled the engine out and saw all the spaghetti style water and oil lines going to the two turbos, i thought it looked a bit messy (for someone who anal about a clean engine bay). When you go single, you can get rid of all the shit that goes around the back of the engine to the plenum. Also im using engine management with a MAP sensor, so i didnt have to worry about Air Flow Meters on piping. - Aesthetics. I dont know about you, but i love the look of a polished big single high mount. Having said this, my car will only be driven about twice a week and at the odd wednesday night Eastern Creek drags; im not that interested in circuit work. Also, i wanted to have an external wastegate; i love the sound. I think at the end of the day, youve got to figure out what you really want to do with the car. I thought F**K IT! Ive always wanted a big single, so im goin a big single! But ive also had a car with a mismatched single turbo where the boost threshold was way too high and that sucked. For track work and near standard drivability - 2530s or similar. If youre one of those people who sit in the garage and look at youre engine bay thinking F**K that looks good, id go a single. A GT3040 with a 1.06 turbine housing would be nice on a 3 litre. Im going the GT3040 with the 0.82 rear for the standard capacity. I dont really care about maximum power, i just want low boost threshold and torque. Im trying to get the best of both worlds. Ill let you know how it goes! Shaun. Id figure out how much it will cost then double it. Theres always something thats blows your budget.

MICROTECH LT-12 with DIGITAL DASH FS
Shaun replied to Shaun's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hi stuart. Glad you like the clutch. The Mictotech is fully laptop programmable (thats what the LT stands for) so no, you dont need the dash. The dash just tells you A/F ratio, water temp, boost, injector duty cycle, rpm, has staged shift lights, and heaps more stuff i cant remember at the moment. It will come with everything you need including the manual and plug in adaptor for the RB20. The price i posted is obviously negotable; im in no hurry to sell. I also PM'd you. Shaun. -
GDay, Ive got an E-Boost for sale. Its installed in the car at the moment, but it has only seen about 1 day of use (no joke). My car (with new engine and E-Boost) was on the road for about half a day before an oil line popped off and spun a bearing. The engine is being rebuilt at the moment and ill be changing engine management and using its boost control. The E-Boost comes with all instructions etc that a new one would come with; it would suit a new E-Boost buyer. I paid $749. Looking for around $580. Shaun 0414972596 Specs can be seen at www.turbosmart.com.au

MICROTECH LT-12 with DIGITAL DASH FS
Shaun replied to Shaun's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
At the moment the LTX-12 from Microtech is $1295 new. As i said, the price is negotable. -
Ive got a Microtech LTX-12 for sale that is about 12 months old. Its been installed in the car for about 6 months. Paid $1950 for it. Ive also got a digital dash to suit thats about 3 months old. Paid $450. Ill sell the lot for $1400 negotable. Ive also got an adapter to suit an RB20. Thats for sale too, but im not sure how much yet. Ill probably throw it in with the purchase of both items. ill post some pictures when i can; all this stuff is in excellent working condition and will suit a new computer buyer. The LTX-12 was the top of the line Microtech at the time of purchase and will control everything. Shaun. 0414972596. Sorry about the quality of the pictures. Any questions, just ring or PM me.

GDay, Has anyone out there had much experience with Autronic engine management? Im building a fairly hot RB26 to go into my GTST (retaining 6 throttles and using single turbo high mount), and im thinking of ditching my Microtech LT-12 in favour for the Autronic on the advice of my engine builder. Just asking for some advice from people in the know. Ill probably get the better model; not sure of its name. Ill also be using the MAP sensor set up. Thanks, Shaun.

GDay, Im in the process of doing a single high mount turbo conversion on my RB26 (in a 32 gtst), and im wondering if anyone knows what to do with the second oil drain in the block. Youve obviously gotta plug it up somehow, but has anyone got first hand experience with this? Also, im after a high mount manifold (for less than $1500) with a T3 flange for a Garrett. Anyone got any contacts etc? Thanks, Shaun.

Ive had a 38mm Tial and it was excellent. Id spend the extra. I certainly wouldnt pay retail though. Check out www.horsepowerfreaks.com. Its an American site and even with the exchange rate and shipping im getting a 44mm for over $300 cheaper than GCG sell them for.

Im extremely interested in the manifold. How much for it alone? Is the flange on the manifold split pulse? I wanna put a garrett turbo on it. Shaun.
