  1. the last 2 cars are fantastic... I so like the black example, which is very unusual for me. I really would like to hear about your purchases, like where, who and a ballpark figure would be nice too. seems like a good time to buy.
  2. u were on the ball in Sep 09 37mins Chris... good work! I am only a few months behind!
  3. "more modified" read bloody low!!
  4. The music is not loud enough then...
  5. Wayne... whilst it isn't a huge problem and some of us don't all have 'new' Skylines yet... you have posted your hello in the V35 Skyline section. Most of the guys have had earlier Skylines before, however this section is really for all things V related.
  6. from what I understand, the bowser pick-ups actually float on the surface of the fuel, so unless the tank is all but empty water shouldn't enter the bowser. My Mobil fuel station, has in the past closed the Synergy 8000 (98 Octane) pumps for this reason. I think that is what a mate told me and he tests the tanks for a living. They also need to be 'leak' tested by using air under pressure with leak down figures to be followed closely, so in theory, nothing can be introduced into the tank.
  7. a fix for coolant leaking from the head is not tightening the head... unless it is a water fitting that is leaking, the head needs to be removed in most cases. if the top radiator hose is leaking, then you can replace that and if it is new, you should be able to tell. if your not sure... you need a second opinion and fast, your mechanic said it was leaking but from where? what did he suggest that the dealer should do? if it was me, I would start taking a log of what they said they did and go and see a trusted mechanic for their opinion. if it is still leaking, it sounds like you have a cracked head, but they do not normally leak outside the engine block, but that will make it run like a bucket of crap and can cause fairly major issues. if your not sure what is going on you need some help.
  8. sorry, can't see the reason why anyone would want to tint headlights... tailights maybe a bit but bright headlights make a big difference at night.
  9. good one Chris... I hope you kill those bugs.
  10. wow on a Caliper.... doesn't that just burn off?
  11. On some of the first designs posted, there appears to two layers of vinyl that overlap each other... If that is the case, wouldn't that look odd and not sit flat?
  12. rebuild... yeh that'll work! do not let water into the intake.... use contact cleaner on all MAF and dry air filter. water and the internal combustion engine do not mix... you can destroy an engine, but you would know if that happened need to reset ECU too
  13. ahhh come on where's your commitment? just read the last 5 pages and all will make sense... not that difficult really.
  14. I know what that is like... 45.7 last Monday... inside the Tin shed that I call a workplace it was measured at 53. Woulda hated to climb any higher than 5 metres to work... gets hot at 15 odd metres.
  15. never tried... but I am led to believe the disc is part of a big bit of software... not sure I could even find my disc.
  16. the mirror down button would be sensational... I would love to have one of those... always put the mirror's down. love to get an inch from the kerb.
  17. should do a seperate 'sticky' page for all of the contacts of those able to do the conversion!
  18. they make sense to me... crap quality from America. Good advice from Chris again.
  19. the issue... as I see it. Nice Car do what you like... sh*tbox... just makes you look more of a w*nker. Probably Safe with a neat V35 Paul. Just make sure you pick the same colour as you washer jet LED's!
  20. Nz... now! This thing has snowballed... just gotta get a Car now!
  21. Chris did it I believe... in Melbourne
  22. stop showing off Rianto...
  23. just ask them and don't mention fair wear and tear... make it out that the window is failing and you would like something done about it you could mention that ... you have heard it is a fairly common fault. might be lucky.
  24. not a zed, do a search for "exhaust" in this V35 section... you will find lots on what you are looking for.
