  1. ^nope... and just had a compulsory shift change which will cut pay by 20%, so not looking good for the future either. Just hope a Manager doesn't get to buy one for his bonus for cutting payroll costs.
  2. about bloody time...
  3. make the exhaust guy pay... because he shouldn't have flatten the battery installing pipes to the engine!!
  4. So if you didn't reset it... you could have gone straight to the previous owner's home? Cool
  5. good work Tiger! and I wish... was going to look more seriously next year however those that consider themselves Management decided to drop a bombshell yesterday... rumours for some time but know they will line their pockets with our money.
  6. looks like someone might get 'special' treatment!
  7. is your rocker cover oil vent hose blocked? Crankcase breather hoses that go back to your manifold...
  8. wow... what a heap to re-read and take in. Just a couple of things that I didn't really see clearly stated; Can everyone pls also remember the rolling diameter for one brand tyre in ANY size may differ from the same size in another brand. The below information was posted and there was lots of good tyre calculators linked, however I just want to re-iterate it... Tyre sizes work in this way 245/45/18 = Profile is 45% of the 245mm width/rim size is 18 inch/width is 245mm. I always work out the specifics of the rolling diameter using the actual tyre size AND the Manufacturer Rolling Diameter info.
  9. looks great... and good work again. any chance of a definition of the pages that haven't been translated or won't work, what does VICS, FM, ETC mean. I took a guess but just want to check! as for the purchase of a V35... always takes me ages to bite the bullet. Deep pockets and short arms!
  10. As per page one of the attachment... Be very, very careful looking or playing around with any SQUIB or associated circuit... This may fire the Airbag, as SQUIBS are generally small electrical devices that allow an explosive device to discharge. Static electricity from your fingers or tooling can fire these devices and should be treated with extreme caution. Make sure you disconnect the Airbag itself at the very least.
  11. touche... love the idea! would drive me insane having a big screen in a language I don't understand.
  12. God work Andy and when I get a V35... this is the one of the first things to be changed! Rather hoping that there might be a solution for a V36 by then though... As for negativity being experienced from some, remember you can never please everyone all of the time. If you think it is expensive or doesn't do what you want, don't buy it... If there is something else you can put $200 towards, do that instead.
  13. but there is 2 555 timers... isn't there?
  14. what did you expect from a SOHC Galant... enough power to pull the skin off a rice pudding?
  15. Brock's Polarizer in a differnt case?
  16. too in depth for me and I love your answer and you make good points... very little value in debating all your good work, as I think I might lose!!
  17. you surely wouldn't trust the job to family?
  18. will your car need a run by the 5th Edwin? I'm offering...
  19. Let me tell you... you can have a roadside EPA test... Noise as well. Get down the GO Road every so often and watch. As for NO CAT, why bother? You will not notice much difference in power Unless you have yearly emissions tests how would you know if one is still performing well either. Sorry Scathing... not trying to be rude... but how exactly are big wheels bad for handling and fuel efficiency? Bigger wheels (unless too big) will nearly always increase handling! IMO... a lot of Modifications to a Skyline (including engine stuff), if done correctly can actually decrease the level of Enviromental Pollution whilst adding to the performance enjoyment. How often is a Skyline running really, really rich?
  20. Motul 5.1... is great and lasts for just as long as normal... in a sealed system it can not absorb anything but heat. No Silicone and works on the GTS-T and the GSXR U should never re-use an open bottle, unless it has been sealed very well.
  21. especially in the wrong section... :P
  22. that's more than a second... hurry up Chriso!
