  1. Nice ride Spenny (Ryan)... really nice! Can you send me a PM on where you got it from and how much (if you don't mind) Other than the choice of wheels (which r ok but not what I want) it is pretty close to what I want.
  2. Nothing but Iron Maiden & Bruce Dickinson.
  3. I think he was joking about the taste thing!! As for the Cop... what a moron and if you got fined tell him you will see him in court. Must be a bit green if he is telling you that and you should not always believe what you are told, especially by Police. Also, never ever agree with them at all, never admit blame, just in case.
  4. Sorry to hear 180 Wanabe, you may be able to find someone to do a small touch up, a blend of the scratch only... There is a guy here in Geelong that could do it, it is kinda like Airbrushing! If you could find someone it might be worth them havin a go. You could let them try and then get the whole panel done if it doesn't work! As for the deadshits doing it, everyone gets what is coming to them. As for the excess, unless you supply a detail, name rego etc, I think you will have to pay it! As for the driving skills, incompetance and morons are everywhere... just ensure you are considerate and hopefully others will follow. Doesn't take a second to be aware of your surroundings and to be a bit patient. However, I can never cope with someone who is oblivious to anyone else on the road for what seems like an eternity! Some people drive cars without mirrors and horse blinkers on! No one owns the road and we need to be aware that there is a left lane and someone might just want to go past. Also, moving over when travelling down a 2 lane road and let someone into traffic is a good start and it also gives you more room if they just pull out! Works in reverse too, the left lane is to be used at all times, but if you can move out to the right to let me in, I will always thank you! Sorry for the rant, but as a Motorcyclist some of this simple stuff can save your life! Back on topic... sorry!
  5. go and have a crash... and get them under insurance for free!!!
  6. impressive 177 rwkw's... especially with very simple mods. Now you need a free flowing exhaust and a blue bottle somewhere!! Well done and always remember, a Boringdore and Falcrap will never get the same standard overall.
  7. Do you know if he deals in air flow meters for imports?
  8. wow, what a lot of detail... and good work on the spreadsheet RS73! This has been covered so many times about speedo error... From my own knowledge and unless it has changed, Australian Design Rules for Speedo Error allows 10% plus or minus in the reading, so there isn't a huge problem legally. If you are really concerned, do a Tyre place ring around and find an accurate measurement of rolling diameter of the tyre that you are using and then look for a bigger version. They all have the capability to research the exact Profile height. Or pump them right up!
  9. Ditto these two posts above... do NOT take that crap laying down! There is no mention of the name of the business, so NO defamation. As for being online is not safe... bollocks. In the most respectful way, you need to harden the f... up, go and see legal aid or a no win - no pay lawyer and take this guy to the cleaners... sorry for the pun. Get some advice (professional) and do not communicate with the owner or the employees in any manner other than via a legal person. Get some advice and get it NOW. I think you may actually find that you have unearthed a professional scam.
  10. should have made the culprit come and fix it...
  11. I agree completely, especially with the idea that there is "no camber adjustment without going aftermarket". Unless you have something different, most Nissan's do not have Camber adjustment as standard... I'll stand corrected but that is front or rear from my knowledge.
  12. as far as I can see it... they had your keys and they should be responsible. about 10 years ago or so, my father parked in a small car park in Melbourne where they hold your keys, so they can shuffle the cars around as their customers need them. at the end of the day, the car was gone... his insurance company claimed against the company that ran the carpark. the car was found about 8 months later when the Police uncovered it in Broadmeadows, being driven by a business man who was apparently oblivious to the crime. I don't know who chased up the issue.
  13. I would be running 38 to 40 but I like a firm ride and minimal flex on my 40 profile 18's. As for Nitrogen it does feel different... well I can feel it. The reasons behind it is that it is not flammable and it does not expand or contract in temperature variations. So the pressure remains the same.
  14. I reckon 35psi is a bit low... 38psi is what I would use.
  15. 1 bottle... how much in it?
  16. Perhaps your diff and rear axle (bushes) are kicked to one side slightly. Should be absolutely central unless it has taken a knock. Would still suggest that you take it to a professional. Maybe you could take some measurements first and see how much it is. Use some straight edges on the face of the wheel and see where the guard sits... Seems very odd, unless something is installed incorrectly. If there is 'No Chance' that the wheel will clear on the left, I would have thought you will not get enough adjustment by just negative camber adjustment. Not sure you can use much more than 1 degree negative and it is a dangerous not doing it correctly. Pick up a copy of High Performance Imports Issue 110 (High Performance) and take a look in the handling pages. The maximum -camber is not a large figure
  17. don't do it at home... just stop putting people in the back, put them on the good side! Check tyre pressures... Think laterally. Is it really the camber, maybe it is a soft shock, shorter spring, the camber of the road, the weight of the people in the back and is it really the tyre and not some other noise.
  18. not sure what size rims everyone has but low profile needs high(ish) pressure. I keep my 18's at 38-39psi and I can normally tell if it drops by a couple of psi. the Manufacturer always underestimates the value by about 8% and I always raise the psi by about 3 or 4 psi on 36. I love seeing people driving around on flat tyres... until they have to stop behind me! Having a flat tyre or tyres must handle atrociously.
  19. i'd reckon there is a manual extract somewhere for centre console... wouldn't it be a fuse? doubtful the connection has become detacted unless someone has been fiddling and didn't re-connect.
  20. go on... post it! No need to buy that lotto ticket Chris?
  21. Hi all, sorry I don't normally jump in to stuff that doesn't directly effect me but I think that if someone says they will buy it first, they should get the option to purchase. Especially considering there was no mention of 'no postage' in the thread until almost 24 hours after a response that someone wanted it. Just my two bobs worth, but I think the item should be sold to Nightcrawler, unless he is happy to back off.
