  1. some good stuff there guys, great advice...
  2. golly gosh... what the bloody hell do you want the kids for? If you had have said wife... well maybe!
  3. I suppose 3 hours is not "too" bad, but they would not be looking at it for that long... I would ask them exactly how long the inspection takes.
  4. I never suggested that you would be driving it... however as a buyer you must be able to drive it before buying it. Also, most places should be able to do an inspection in an hour or so... and there should be no problem for the owner to be there watching what happens. All day or even half a day is not appropriate.
  5. further to that, if I was selling there is no way I would let the car out of my sight whilst it is being inspected. As for driven without me, I would need a drivers licence and other Identification in my hand. Might even follow them in another car too. Might let them drive me perhaps so at least I have some control over how they treat the baby!! Can destroy a car by driving it inappropriately...
  6. Keep well away if he will not let you have the car for inspection. As far as I would be concerned, I would never buy a private car unless I can put on a hoist. Full stop.
  7. start at plugs, gap them correctly and make sure they sit on a good clean seat
  8. not sure I would want them to touch them again... get your money back then get them acid dipped or sand blasted and then find someone who will spray an undercoat, colour and two coats of clear.
  9. Pretty sure they are both the same cars, with the same owners!
  10. and the Red 35GTR here at my photo album.
  11. not sure that was what Chris had in mind... If you want to see those cars in recent competition, I suggest you should all go and look at some photographs of that I captured of both of those cars. You can see the Black 35GTR here at my photo album.
  12. did you see the 370Z ones.... so cool. Surely we could get that done in Aus, especially if we can find someone with the ability to get the glass off. The elecronics would not be hard at all. Cincity 370Z LED Headlights - Pt2 The music is the name of my Bluetooth too!!
  13. ^not a bad idea. I just lift the guard a little, normally good for half an inch or so.
  14. I think the clear cover is an option, or should be...
  15. Braided Lines are the best, but make sure you get a nice clear cover put over the top. Not sure what brand to use on the car, I got mine on the bike, done years ago.
  16. call a decent Nissan Workshop and talk to them... I can suggest Rex Gorell Nissan - Geelong. Talk to Nissan Service Manager only.... Try a couple in Melbourne as well. I believe Ferntree Gully is ok, can anyone confirm? Just an idea and perhaps a Brisbane dealer could help?] Nulon is good, even Motul has right stuff I think. Not sure the 5 sp is an issue but the right oil in the CV G/Box is paramount.
  17. yep, i agree lets see what you got.
  18. try Nissan Oz... if you have lots of money?
  19. Ditto, the last 2 posts...
  20. does seem to have a bit of excess, but only from the picture from the side when it is in Park I presume. Might look better in D...
  21. ...unless you and the car are in Japan...
  22. can't be bothered... ahhh that is so nice...! We might not be bothered responding to your questions... lol
