  1. Can any one confirm that V35/350z coilovers are compatible with NM35 stageas? Tein list different part numbers for 2wd and 4wd m35 models. Im unsure if this means they are different or just their part naming protocol.
  2. Set of these are on their way for the stagea. Nissan 370z akebonos with 355mm Project Mu rotors.
  3. Mine sits at 500-600 depending on engine temp
  4. Dakine 2 in 1 luggage set. Nice big luggage set that separates into 2 checkable pieces if wanted. Specs are in the link below. $100 http://www.freeborn.co.uk/dakine-60-40-split-convertible-1
  5. If he started the car before he reconnected it will throw the CEL. Check the codes for conformation. Reset ecu if that's all it was. The CEL should disappear by itself after a while if it does not detect another sensor malfunction.
  6. I forgot to thank Scotty for this "how to", had mine repaired a year ago and has worked great ever since. Thanks Scott.
  7. I assumed he was asking about a nm35 when he said v35 , since no v35's are factory turbo. "Yes but what are you saying? " I was simply pointing out he could use a GTR bov as a cheap option if he didnt have one.
  8. M35 does have a factory Bov. Similar or same as gtr Bosch units.
  9. Ive had my M35 for around 4 years and still find it a prick to parallel park into a tight spot, hard to judge were the tail gate is. Reversing camera looks ugly but would be handy.
  10. If you search the stagea discussion threads there is a "how to" that discribes the steps needed to clear the light. Try searching for "m35 codes"
  11. Im unsure if the dump has a Cat sensor, never really had a good look in there due to lack of space. Already having a cat back in place, installing the front pipe gave a noticeable mid range power increase. Exhaust noise level is slightly up on idle and power but nothing huge. The most notable change to the noise is the idle now has a slight "throb" to it, much like many RB engined cars.
  12. I still have the stock dump pipe which has a cat in it. There is no wiring to the front pipe cat, no code has been thrown yet though I do still have the stock dump with cat
  13. Stock M35 front pipe Vs Kakimoto
  14. I have a M35 and V35 both complied here in Perth. With the stagea they removed all the HID gear, although it was easy to replace. The V35 they simply removed the bulbs and cut the wires, so when the car went over the pits i just put in the hid bulbs and reconnected 2 wires.
  15. Exhaust is an Apexi N1 catback. Suprisingly it isnt that loud and minimal drone.
  16. Got the Cat back on, can actually hear the exhuast note over the induction sound. Gained a few ponies and must have lost 30kg's getting rid of that huge coffin mid muffler. Front pipe is on next to go on when it arrives.
  17. The above kit is a nice bit of gear Ive been looking at getting a set for my stagea. If anyone is keen they are pretty damn cheap from the states. They can be bought for under 1k delivered Akebono Kit
  18. Can the brake wire not be hooked up to the parking brake making an external switch redundant?
  19. nice m35 for sale on yahoo jp Modded M35 yahoo Jp
  20. Sounds promising if he is indeed able to crack and tune the stock M35 vq25det ECU. Keep us all updated.
  21. Any idea what sort of power increase it gave you after installation? Did the note or volume of exhaust change?
  22. Manage to source a Kakimoto front pipe to go with the new catback.
  23. Stagea got some loving New plugs HKS panel filter Rotors and pads New Rad Changed motor/rad and box fluids Apexi N1 catback for the M35
  24. The box is suppose to be service free, unsure if there is a filter to change. The fluid is simple to change, just warm the car up, drain the box via the lower plug. Then drain the transcooler. Replace the same volume of fluid as you drew out of the box and cooler(around 4-5 L) via the transmission fluid inspection pipe located next to the fire wall. A full flush involves more work and uses a fair amount more fluid (8-10ish L?). There are youtube videos for G35s/350z that can be of some assistance if you get stuck.
