Hey ive cut the wire to the sensor and it done nothing now the warning light stays on and I still cant start my car dont know what to do

Hi new to this my car is on the stuck on the side of the road and it won't start the cat temp sensor warning light keeps coming on when I go to start the car I had no warning of it at all if any can help me please
