I fuelled up my GTS-Tr32 standard rb20det man within about half hour 45min of driving my car (in 5th gear at 100km/h) it started surging like it was out of fuel however it was at least 3/4 full. We put a new fuel filter in it dropped all the fuel out. The car starts and idles but very rich and ruff, blows lots of black smoke, and sounds like a wrx as if its running on five cylinders but it is running all six. The car also seems as if it is building up excessive fuel pressure. We have cleaned and checked the plugs and coils, drained all fuel and filled with premium, checked general wiring for any loose conections ect and also used test light to check TPS and crank angle sensor all are ok. After all this the car is still running like shit, rich, ruff and blowing smoke. I'm at my wits end done and checked what everyone recommends and everything I can think of and just want to try and fix the problem before my partner gets home from work.
