  6. My Stags become quite a tow broad minded person recently. Winton once, Calder 3 times and couple of shuffling cars around. Got electronic brakes now which makes a huge difference. Best thing ever for towing. Still pretty average economy though, ~17l/100kms. hoping to get a tune soon see i can make it a little better.
  7. Stagea's make the best tow cars! Calder on the weekend after unloading the cars
  8. Yeah going up the hills on the hume i was pushing a steady 5+psi just to keep up, didn't really show on the fuel economy though. Do it Josh. best daily I've ever owned. Only thing is i love my manual, but towing is the only time I'd wish i got an auto.
  9. Depending on your coilovers you will need spacers on the back. other then that they should sit sweet
  10. Anyone wrecking a C34?, i need the steering column shroud. Mine was ruined when some lowlifes tried to steal it. Doesn't matter where its located, willing to pay postage. Thanks
  11. Agree with everyone on here, k's don't mean anything. its all how the cars been looked after. My Stagea is nearing 230k and has (while in australia) been really well taken care of and you can tell. Seriously they are cheap cars for what they are, well worth fixing and keeping longer than 2-3 years.
  12. Saw a black wgnc34 last night doing chap laps, and a silver s2 with spotties either side of the number plate going down Montague st this arvo.
  13. Sounds great Justin, also interested in your l/100ks. For comparison when i towed my s13 the 500km round trip to winton i got 17l/100ks. pulling 2tn trailer and car with the stag packed full of shit. Mine is way for stock than yours, stock boost, cooling and brakes, front mount, coilpacks, coilovers and that's about it, mine is manual though and i stayed in 4th the whole way, pushing 3.5-4k rpm trying to keep up with the v8 tow boats
  14. ^rajab damnit!! Took the stag camping, had a bit of trouble getting into the spot, shes a little low and stiff. Had her balanced on 2 wheels. Defiantly raising her next time...
  15. yep unless you're going forward facing plenum go a turn flow. easy to install, no cutting and nearly the same tube length.
  16. Trailer was just the car, but the back of the stag was chock full of tyres and spares. Wanted to keep the tow car heavier than the trailer and it handled beautifully.
  17. Just drove to Winton and back from Melbourne. rs4s towing about 2tn of s13/trailer and got 17lt/100kms. Much better than i expected. 4 gear all the way 3.5-4krpm. for comparison i usually get 13lt/100km everyday driving.
  18. I've got some adjustable Koni's with nismo lowered springs on them you can have for $300? can get pics tonight if you want
