I wanted to see what it'd do.. was still pullin like a train at 8.. but was a bit rattly so i didn't go any further.. and I've since found that the oil pmp isn't happy at those revs. Just gotta find me a high volume pump now!

yeah good point. especially after you factor in the new turbo etc etc etc. anyone happen to know what a turbo rebuild + flowing is worth? and what you can get out of the t3 before it packs it in?

Hey all, almost every fj that I've seen featured anywhere has a high mount setup (and lots of other stuff to for that matter). So I'm wondering if theres a reason behind it or it just looks good and keeps the bonnet from getting cold Thanks, sorry if this has been asked before, I havn't seen it

about $150 each all up I think To start with they wanted me to send my original belts up to klipan for the engineer to look at!!!!

I havn't tried it yet, but i'm pretty sure the speed limiter is in the speedo. Theres a very suspicious looking brass contact in behind the speedo face. Theres no speed sensors in the box itself.

hey guys.. know this is an old thread but still.. ordered belts from klipan, don't know the part numbers off hand, but they're basically r30 belts with a drop link added (the bit off the roof). They aren't here yet.. and it was a nightmare talking to 15 different people to get them. They better fit!

like from a speed sensor in the gearbox or something you mean? Pretty sure theres nothing from the gearbox.

That looks great Ghostrider. I was thinking about some kind of venting on the drs bonnet since it was raining really heavily one day, and there was still steam coming off the top of the bonnet haha. How much is venting like that worth?

Hey all, I was just dreaming a little this afternoon, anyone know what kind of a pigyback computer I could use on an fj? or suggestions or whatever? I looked at the powerfc but the fj wasn't in the list of stuff it would do, or is that just a list of ones you can plug it into and have drive away settings? thankyou!

hey Guys, My sister has just bought an R33 gtst, and I have a couple of questions. When the hicas light is on, whats that mean? Do they have and electronic boost controlle of some sort? Its only running about 3psi at the moment, had a bit of a look and theres a solenoid looking thing just behind the air box with a couple of pipes coming out of it that have been blocked off and the pipe to the wastegate looks like something else was in there at one point. I don't have a pic sorry, I'm downloading a manual for it at the moment, was just hoping someone could shed some light. Thanks! Rob

i wouldn't worry to much about having blocked your oil pickup, it'd have to be pretty good whack to smush them together hard enough to stop oil

well if I can just use the stocko klippan in pillar mounted jobs thats going to make it all a whole shitload easier! Thanks guys.
