I recently acquired a V35 with the bose H/U. Unfortunately there is no sound from it, from any input. It loads and accepts CDs and displays no error message, but is silent. I've checked in the boot and the amp appears to be connected okay. I'm guessing it's the H/U. I will have a look in the dash to make sure it's correctly connected this weekend. Any suggestions on what I can do to identify the fault? I'm willing to change the H/U if needs be, but I would like to be sure that the speakers/amp are working before I invest in a JDM DD unit and the wiring harness. BTW i'm not in oz and have no real support where I am, so it's DIY for me.... Welcome any suggestions.
