But hopefully will be looking for my GTR beginning of next yr. then its time for boostin. And i know what you mean about the cops i used to live there, was all good until one night the old man (a copper i might add) busted me and a mate playin cat and mouse through the streets of Renmark. Was not to happy after that........................still its all fun. Will have to keep in contact with everyone

Hi all you good folks in S.A. Hows the life down there? Just wanted to find out the goss of the area as it looks like me and the missus will be moving down there in the near future, well maby not to near but this year some time. Looks like we will be moving to the riverland though so that will suck as far as the import seen goes, but will have to see what i can start up and will deffinatly be down in the city for some events. Will be looking at buying a 33GTR V Spec when we get down there. So anyway if there is anyone who wants to chat and let me know what is going on down there, that would be appreciated. Or you can just chat in general if you like. Im open to anything. Ps if someone knows a good shop for import work and where is the best place to buy imports that would also be appreciated.

I would suggest the R32 also. Have also heard from a friend that working on the 300 engin is a pain in the backside. Apparently just to change a radiator hose you have to get under the car, or pull off the front end. The 32 is much better to build on and easier to mod when your ready. That would be my choice but it is up to you in the end.

R33 Gtst Series 2 Turbo (need Help)
AZZA replied to MadManz's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hi jason im currently experiencing the same problem at the moment, will be taking it around to a mate house tomorrow to look at it. Have taken off the intake pipes and cleanded it, s will post it when i know the prob. Hopefully it turnes out to be just a little excess oil and not the turbo. -
For those of you in Queensland (sorry dont know about the other states), it is a legal requiremant to have a safety certificate clearly displayed in the window of your car if you have a for sale sign on one of your windows. I was pulled over for it the other day and it is different to a road worthy cert. apparently it only costs $35 to $80 dependant on the mechanic seen. But that is better than a $350 fine from the traffic cops. Something else i want to say is. I know that a lot of people have problems with the cops, but i believe that it depends on which ones you get, as in queensland its the traffic cops that are the pain in the preverbial, the other cops are usually fine. As a result of me being puled over i was let off from the safety cert but not the expired lisence. Oh well you win some, you loose some.

Schtickers!! Get your SAU Schtickers here!!
AZZA replied to PranK's topic in General Automotive Discussion
How much are the SAU stickers and do you sell them also bec or would i have to soure them from someone else. Am interested. -
I was talking to a mate of mine and he said that it may be because it is not getting enough fuel, is it possible that a fuel pump could fix this or is it deffinatly the plugs. Just eant to make shore in case i stuff something up.
-
tanks for the info guys, but i have to ask the same as SAUmember888, how dp you gap the plugs, can you do it yorself or is it something best left for the mechanic.

can anyone help me. I have bought a manual boost controller and once i put it on things were going fine, i set it around 10psi to 11psi on stock turbo and stock intercoller. However after a few weeks it started to loose power under boost at the high end of the boost range, about 5000 to 6500, sometimes even earlier. It almost sounds like it is backfiring. I have thought about air/fuel mixtures and the timing or that it may just need a simple tune. However i feel that there is a biger problem behind this, so if there is anyone out there with suggestions that would help, i would be greatfull

its between pages 2 and 4 of the forced insuction forums.

if you look further in the forums you will find a forum that says "have found a cheep boost controller for under $22" if you look in that forum it will tell you and show you some pictures of what to do.

Not all people think that there for, how do you say it mate "WANK VALUE". different people like different things and if were all enthusiests about our carws and our skylines then we shouldnt have a go at someone just because they are doing something different. Henzie i installed one the other day with the help of some mates. First you need an "L.E.D" light detecter to find the wire that links into the computer, at idle it should flash at a slow regular pase and then under accelaration it will flash faster. strip the wire and join the green wire of the tacho then solder it together. Then all you have to do is find a continous power supply somwhere behind the dash and a power supply that workes when your lights are turned on and hook up the wires that the instructions tell you. And dont forget to earth it aswell. On a saturday i ran all the wires through and fitted the tacho to the dash and then on the sunday i had my mates help me find the right wire and solder everything together. All in all it would probably take about 40 to one houre to install everything.

How Much Have You Spent On Your GTS-T/ GT-T???
AZZA replied to **JaR**'s topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Im one of the little spenders at the moment but its in the process of changing. To date i have only spent the following -Gauges-500 -Rims-2500 -Bc-35, bought one of those manual ones from mark. his thread is in the forced turbo section, awsome bit of equiptment. -tinted windows-300 other than that not a lot. Some of the mods were already done like tein fully adjustable suspension, pod filter, 3" from the turbo back. have plans for a fmic soon in the next year for only 700, then it will continue from there. Love these cars, its just funny how silly little comodores keep trying to run against me, even though mine is a mild tune, so i can only imagine how some of the guys in this forum must blow them apart. By the way Packy love the comment about the missus. -

Hay all havent been on here for a while, but started reading about the boost controller this morning and ofter all the comments about how well it works i have decided to buy one of mark.
