  1. Cool, thanks a lot that. Will definitely take a look. The Pre-purchase inspection should pick up rust etc (Do you think this will do?). Other things I'll definitely take a look at re: the steering wheel and other little details, but will make sure I ask if they've been replaced.
  2. For the record, I have asked the Seller why is he selling, and requested a AA Pre-purchase inspection. I was wondering if there was anything else that I should be looking for when I go to see the car. I have a few friends who are exponentially more knowledgeable than myself to come look at the car with me, but I figured asking in a Skyline forum wouldn't be a bad idea.
  3. Hi all! So I'm looking at owning my first Skyline, I've had a bit of a read around, trying to find some good info on the V-Series Skylines (Primarily 250/300GT Models). I've looked through I'm Buying a Skyline - what should I look for? and the V35 FAQ as well for good measure. I'm a bit stumped though, as to what sort of KM's I should be looking at for 2001 Model Engines. I'm not after a pristine Skyline by any means, this will be a day to day car so I'm looking for something that will last me for a while yet. The problem being I don't want to be spending money on something that will crap out on me in less than 30k kms. This is the car I'm currently looking at buying. To me it seems a bit dodgy that he's selling it for so cheap, but the mileage makes me think perhaps its that; along with a few cosmetic and electrical defects. What are your guy's thoughts on this? Basically, I'd greatly appreciate any help/comments/recommendations in regards to price ranges and mileage ranges I should be looking at. I'm not too concerned about power, so a 250GT V6 does me just fine. I'm more wondering about the expectations of service maintenance etc on something with K's this high. I like to keep my cars well, so I don't want to buying something that will require a bunch of cash injected into it before I can be happy it's well maintained thereafter. Cheers! Blitzz
