  1. I asked the same thing recently - and yes, they look a lot 'fuller' on a GTS-T so the guards cannot be ignored... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...61#entry4121261
  2. I had the same question and got similar advice - 225/235's fit ok but may need to remove guard liner. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ts-t235360.html
  3. Thanks!!! They look great! Any more pics? Has anyone here actually fitted them??? Mike
  4. I have 18 x 9.5 +27 for the rear and trial fitting suggested that they would be ~12-15mm outside the standard guard. I think those will be an extra 1/2" further out of the stock guards unless you are running an incredible amount of camber.
  5. Tyre profile would be far more noticeable than changing tyre size on your rim. That said, swaybars will make a significant difference. By themselves, they will improve the cornering ability of your car noticeably, but once you've stiffened up the roll rate through tightening adjustable swaybars, you can back off your dampers and enjoy the benefits of better roadholding mid-corner as your shocks can now do a better job of absorbing bumps, rather than being set hard to stop body-roll. Swaybars are my suggestion.
  6. Should be printed or stamped on the back of the rim - look for 18x#JJ +## and report back. Failing that, tell people what car they were on, whetehr or not they stuck out of the guards, whether the guards were modified and how far out/in they sat from the guard lip.
  7. Hi guys, I imagine this question has been asked a billion times but I cannot find a single piece of info on it... Is there a good reason why I havent seen or cant find pics of R33 GTR rims on an R33 GTST? If anyone has pics or can give me some info it would be greatly appreciated. I know how frustrating it is to see such questions but I'm posting this as a last resort.... HELP an idiot!
  8. SMS'd him but received no reply... After price and pics on driver's seat + driver side window control panel
  9. Cartels are definately the way to go. Failing that, grab some Ride RX's or SPi's...
  10. The satin black I've seen have had immaculate panels. I guess because you're looking at the panels themselves, rather than seeing a reflection as is the case with high-gloss black, the panels must be perfect. BUT, either I have it completely wrong, or the people who have suggested it haven't noticed that the panels are fibreglass. White w black bonnet all the way...
  11. I got 620kms from a tank purely highway driving but have typically got about 450-500kms/tank with 1/2 of that city driving.
  12. DONE!!! Went to Jaycar and we did some testing. The guy figured that that particular resistor was probably a fusible resistor, designed to be the first thing to blow (rather than your LED's). Anyway, bought the resistor's designated 'RR0524'. These are a 10 ohm resistor. For a brighter light, use 2 of these in parrallel or a single 5 ohm resistor. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to compare how bright the 10 ohm resisitor is as they havent worked since I got the car. So there you go - $500 for a brand new one, $250 for a secondhand one, or 0.38c to repair your own....
  13. Just opened mine up and low-and-behold, mine had the same resistor blow-out but it has no identifiable markings (a small pile of green dust). Does anyone know what resistor goes there? BTW - When these WERE available, they were $500. I found 1 at a wreckers for $250...if we can figure this out, it'll be worth making it a sticky.
