  1. The Option Z or the Fairlady Z LM concept are more than enough to win that championship.....
  2. I'm interested depending on what you decide to do. Obviously not game to be caught doing something stupid on camera on public roads. Would be nice to be on film on my own grounds. Scotts Big Boys Toys already using my car in a TV ad without my permission.
  3. I'll get a shot of the 34 on the weekend.
  4. Same place you got yours, but they had a 25% off sale and they had one in stock From what I can tell from your pictures, mine is a few cms higher but not an awful lot. Mine hangs down for two reasons: 1. I have an oil cooler and a transmission cooler so I couldn't move the transmission cooler like you did. So it's not quite on the angle back that it should be. If I did move it, I think it would still hang down a tiny amount. 2.The design isn't quite correct because its too wide to fit between the metal headlight supports and can NOT be put as high as the directions state even if the support bar is cut.
  5. If theres a GT4 poster with a Zed or r34 on it I'd love it Skylvia.
  6. I have a Blitz LM kit on mine and the return pipe does sit about 5cm below the front bar and I had to trim the undertray around it. However it isn't an issue as if you're going to scrape that pipe you're going to scrape your car. Only thing to watch out for would be the concrete blocks in car parks that stop you getting too close to the gutter. Btw I paid $1311 retail for the kit and fitted it myself for reference. It's really not that hard to fit yourself and abo bob's instructions are excellent, although I hacked a bit off the front bar support to sit mine up higher. As for the piping returning through the stock piping being worse than over the engine bay, I call bullshit as the difference in length is really insignificant. I did notice a tiny bit more lag but very very minor - compared to my trust side mount.
  7. Is there any doco anywhere on how your b-spec driver improves etc? I find mine runs up the back of the car in front a lot as opposed to overtaking, however he hasn't lost a race yet
  8. The unichip isn't a replacement chip, so the stock ECU handles the gear shift logic which means gear shifts are as meant to be. I'm not really sure of how great the unichip is really because the current tune leaves a bit to be desired, far too rich. I did notice a gain in fuel economy when I fitted my front mount too. I will be getting the unichip retuned shortly with slightly lower boost and a bit leaner and am hoping for around the 200rwkw mark.
  9. It happens to everyone, what I suspect is that the garage reports the figure at the flywheel whilst the race reports the figure at the wheels.
  10. It looks so much better in widescreen HD doesn't it. Would highly recommend anyone going along to this, as I've also watched upto episode 18 and can't wait for the next episode to be released in the US.
  11. I have a tiptronic 34 with exhaust, dump, pod, fmic, ebc and unichip. In winter I hit fuel cut from over-boost on very cold mornings. Never happens otherwise and I suspect if I play with my ebc settings a little further I can completely get rid of it. Also lowering the boost will resolve the issue, as I'm running a little higher than what I'd like due to a previous tune. Otherwise I have no idling or acceleration issues. I don't think you will see that issue with just a filter and exhaust. You WILL experience the car running rich due to the factory ECU. Also it may be a little hard finding a full exhaust for a 4 door locally, unless you get one custom made.
  12. Shonen: not quite the correct offset for a r34 but very close:( You'd be wanting roughly +37 and +38 to fit a GTT with this width. Might get away with +40 but I'd want to test that out first....
  13. Wasn't Envisage, was me
  14. Oh my god. I just spotted the absolute sexiest car on wheels driving down the parkway. Forgive the blasphemy but it was a........Ford GT40! One of the new remakes of the classic. Was driving back from the computer fair and spotted it coming the other way and thought geez that things low to the ground, it gets closer "Surely it can't be a GT40...oh my f**king god it is." Not sure how long it is in town but I wants me one!
  15. I think you may have difficulty selling it to GT-T owners on here as we all bought a manufactured one of Bass Junkey. Gl with the sale though.
  16. Vin Diesel isn't in XXX2.....
  17. LOL Thats gold: Nvidia turbo back exhaust
  18. Unfortunately the older ps2s are starting to die My laser has troubled reading my errr backed up games nowadays.
  19. Constantine was very lame. Contrived, cliched and Keanu Reeves was just plain annoying.
  20. I second the bilstein and whiteline option. My Tein coilovers are brilliant on smooth streets or the track but skitters around corners with any bumps.
  21. I think the 100k and license transfer from GT3 and prologue is a good idea but if you actually use it, it ruins the game. If you start with 100k the first cars you can get are exceptional and it makes it so easy. I chose not to transfer the money or licenses to make it more interesting. Still going through the first two licenses. Btw a few undocumented things: 1. Tap R3 during the license tests to bring up the accelerate/brake markers from GT3 (the blue red dotted lines). 2. You can hold R2 to rev out the engine a little further in AT. This can actually give you a bit more acceleration if you time it right. Time it wrong and you'll hit the limiter and slow down.
  22. Whilst lots of people including myself thought it was a Nismo kit it is actually a Nissan Sport kit. You may want to reconsider trying to fit the GTR bits as it really isn't that simple and requires quite a lot of modifying.
  23. I'll see if I can find out from the previous owner. But I wouldn't be too concerned unless it happens again. As Dan said, when they really go the transmission gets locked in 3rd. I had the light come on once driving to work and nothing seemed to cause it. Switched off and back on and it was fine. That happened about 6 months ago and haven't seen it since.
  24. Vigilante.
